I just saw the the squad list, and that they play in Carson! Idk where I've been, but obviously I haven't been paying attention. Glad to see Arturo back in the squad. Him and Purdy were my boys, both really good dudes.

You CAN (not that I have) download condensed nfl games online that cut everything out except from the start of the play until the whistle is blown to stop the down. Those video files are around 40 minutes for a standard game. So I would say the 11 minutes is dramatically too low.

Since the Wall St Journal's famous analysis, there has been several other studies that confirmed this. Google search all the studies if you wish.

I have a friend that works as an engineer for a cable company & his group handles the VOD. When they get the replay game files to DL into the system during the season for customers to view after game day Sundays, the files are 14 mins long.

The truth is always painful my fine NT friend.

Edit - When I was in Germany in the 90s, there was a channel that showed NFL games without the commercials & the broadbcast was 30 mins. It was that long because of the replays which were included which took more than half of the time of programming.

Edit pt II - I was so mad the other day. I recorded ESPN FC & an NCAA game went over. It took them 21 mins & 43 sec to play the final 1 min & 50 secs of the game due to time outs & ish...
