You wont get a Shaw type fee. He only went for that much because he was English and going to a English club.

Yea well, Danilo is Brazilian (they tend to better footballers than Englishmen ) and he could very well go to an English club, United are interested. Plus, let's not forget here - he's better than Luke Shaw. Talent has to be the priority. There will be a bidding war from the top clubs, so someone will overpay, they have too.

I don't understand how Luke Shaw money is out of the realm of possibilities.

Look at ll the pics of Neymar & Danilo... He ain't going to Madrid. I have a feeling his buddy Neymar has already bent his ear & there's a secret arrangement for him to come to Barca.

It would make sense since they're getting rid of his best friend on the team in Alves. Bringing in one of his actual best friends who's a solid fullback makes sense... :rolleyes

Didn't Barça break the bank and make Dani Alves the highest transferred full-back during the time they got him? I wouldn't be surprised if they do it again at all for Danilo. That's why I'm predicting more than Shaw money for Danilo. The bidders will pay. What sucks is that if Danilo goes to Barca he won't be able to play in the champions league next year.

We're living in a time that some dimwit named David Luiz sells for 50 Million Euros and some biscuit named Luke Shaw sells for 40 million euros gentlemen - can't be surprised anymore.

Very very disappointed in Carlo extending his full support to Arrigo Sacchi for his racist views... I lost a lot of respect for Carlo... :smh:

Why wouldn't he be able to play in CL?

I'm not denying that he is a better talent then Shaw, heck Luis is also better imo and he only cost half as much. EPL is known to extremely overvalue English players, esp when sold to a club in the same league. Remember the EPL has a rule on how many home grown players each club must have. That's another reason why local players are sold for high prices.

Hey everyone, thought this would be an appropriate thread to post this. I will be in the UK (Reading) for almost the entire month of March. Looking to catch the Chelsea match at Stamford Bridge on Sunday 3-15. Can anyone advise the best way for me to go about getting tickets? Also, if anyone has any suggestions on what I could do during my nights and weekends in the UK, that would be awesome as well!!!

Thanks in advance.

To think these 2 used to cut up & held court during lunch at La Masia when they were teenagers. :smokin

The level of what they achieved at their childhood club (even though Tito never made it to first team) is crazy.

Even beyond that, how many people can say they've had friends like these 2 were for as long as they did.

I still think from time to time about Tito & what could've been had he not had his cancer. The man was pure class.

I wouldn't read too much into that... Some of the Euro press is making a big deal that Lewa didn't start for the CL match against Shakhtar.

He did come from a system under Klopp that catered to his role on the team so coming to Bayern was going to be different. I'm sure he gave coming to the club it's due diligence before signing on.

He had his choice of any club he wanted so hopefully he didn't make this choice without full consideration only to have regrets later.

This all screams press making ish up to sell a headline or drive viewers to there twitter feed or web post. :rolleyes

I'm not arguing with that dude, I'm arguing the fact you said Danilo can't do Luke Shaw transfer numbers - While I think he can because he'll have the three richest clubs in the world bidding for him.

Dortmund wins their 3rd straight. Suddenly up to 10th in the league (with a game over everybody else, mind.)

Happy days are back. Just in time for UCL and the Revierderby next week...

I completely forgot football was a thing on NT.

Anyway, PSG >>>

Zlatan is that dude, but how does one become a PSG supporter? They're like the Man City of an irrelevant league. Their only matches that matter are in the CL, which means they play about 8-10 matches at most per year that have any meaning.
