Never thought I'd see the day this Bayern team goes 0/4 on PK's...Kind of eerie that Lahm and Alonso both slipped and missed the exact same way

Looks like we're going to get an El Clásico final

And Truth Serum, no, a Juve team that can't beat Torino is not going to get past Real.

To all the Chelsea fans, everyone knows you've won the league now, so just let us have those 3 points tomorrow night? Yeah? Thanks.

Blancos and Rojiblancos hit with that transfer ban. Perez summer spending spree soon

Manchester United to play Barcelona in glamour pre-season friendly in San Francisco (Santa Clara)

Manchester United will play Barcelona in a glamour friendly at the $1.2bn home of the San Francisco 49ers in July.

United have confirmed a pre-season tour of the United States which will see Louis van Gaal’s team play four games in the space of 12 days.

And the clash against Barcelona will see United face the Champions League semi-finalists in the 68,500-capacity Levi’s Stadium - the state of the art base of NFL franchise the 49ers, who moved into the stadium last July.

United played in front of a record crowd against Real Madrid in Michigan last year

It will be the first time United have played against Barcelona since a pre-season friendly at FedEx Field in Washington DC in July 2011.

• Manchester United confirm they will tour US again this summer
• United beat Real in front of record American football crowd

Barcelona stars Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez are unlikely to figure in the game in San Francisco, however, due to their international commitments during the Copa America in Chile, which runs from June 11 until July 4.

British record signing Angel di Maria and Argentina team-mate Marcos Rojo will also be absent, with United’s Ecuadorean midfielder Antonio Valencia another likely to be rested after the South American championship.

United are returning to the States this summer after playing in front of the biggest-ever crowd for a football game in the country when attracting 109,000 supporters for the friendly against Real Madrid in Ann Arbor’s Big House stadium last July.

United will return to America where they had such a good pre-season last summer

• Wayne Rooney struggling to be fit for Manchester United v West Brom
• Manchester United desperately need to strengthen this summer

Van Gaal’s team are also due to play Paris Saint-Germain and Mexican team Club America during their participation in the International Champions Cup.

United, who beat Liverpool in the final in Miami last August, will also play against MLS outfit San Jose Earthquakes.
:smh: and I'll still probably go.

I think I'm gonna need to make the day trip to Chicago for Man U/PSG. What are the chances Zlatan plays?

Im thinking ill go too.
Im assuming Rooney, Suarez, Van Persie, Rakitic, Iniesta, And Mata should all be there.

i don't know some of those guys are old like rvp and iniesta they might take the whole summer off after euro qualifications. Suarez, Messi, ADM, Neymar will just be done with copa america. So Barca might have no big names there and Man U will probably have all there guys since very few of them have national team callups

Nevermind forgot that Suarez is suspended so he likely will be the feature Barca player on the summer tour

Glad there's a game at Levis (I only go there to watch soccer), but I hope it's not like the Real vs Inter game at Berkeley last year where no one besides Bale showed up :smh: So glad I didn't spend 100+ for that

This. Game was garbage.

Robben is out for the season with a torn calf muscle and Lewa has a broken jaw and concussion.

Only pic quoting for comparison sake. Bayern Tifo from the match that day.

Sucks that Bayern has all these injuries. I wanted Barca to face them at full strength. I don't usually complain about refs, but they missed a very obvious hand ball on Dortmund's Schmelzer.

I can't believe Bayern missed 4 PKs... That's terrible.

yep, as a fan of the game sucks that Bayern-Barca has to go down in the way it will, with a load of injuries to one of the teams.

Transfer rumors are so funny... Spanish (specifically Madrid) press is saying Bale will go for DdG & Madrid will then target Hazard or Rues.

Spur's Lloris is said to be United's target now to replace the Spaniard when he departs for Madrid.

The UK press really seems to think Liverpool is in the running for Memphis . I would only think that has some legitimacy if they were to fire Rodgers & hire Klopp. Liverpool needs to fire their "transfer committee" too.

Why is that funny tho? That could happen. Hazard would be a long shot but if he'd want to go Real would be able to get it done.

Catalan rumors are funny too tho, remember Isco to Barca?
