Like it or not, both (Money & Chelsea) beat the opposition handily & earned championships...
My bias for La Liga aside, this campaign has been the worst quality of football I've ever seen in the Prem from top to bottom.
I honestly can't think of one team this year in that league that played great football. Chelsea kinda did early on before Jose got rely conservative in the back end of the campaign maybe...
Can't wait to see what unfolds in the CL & EL...

I didn't watch Chelsea enough, but it seems like Fabregas's annual new year vacation and costa being injured had a lot to do with holding back Chelsea stylistically and from playig great Footie.

Gotze has been a weird player for me. I know he scored the WC winning goal, but I haven't seen anything that crazy from him all season

Not a Barca fan, but those numbers look clean. Also like the horizontal stripes on the new kit, but what's with the half collar? Would have looked so much nicer if they just extended the Catalan flag all the way down into the V. Also, never been a fan of side panels on jerseys. Don't know why Nike has been using them so much lately.

With the arrival of Hannibal, Messi no longer plays the false 9. He's a hyrbrid of a classic 10 & winger (right side). This also benefits Argentina too. Tata tried this last year but for whatever reason Messi didn't play very well at all & seemed to be standing around a lot.
Under Luis, Messi plays on the right side but has freedom to roam & will often move to the center of the pitch to act as an attacking mid.
Rakitic & Alves have been moving effectively to cover ground wherever Messi moves too. In the event that Messi bombs forward, Rakitic provides great cover in the midfield & Alves is there to protect that right side.
People talk about the Barca trident consisting of Neymar, Hannibal, & Messi but Messi working with Rakitic & Alves has been a god send this campaign.
A lot of this was necessary because Xavi isn't the same player he once was

In addition to his new sleeve of tattoos, Messi looks svelte & more fit than he has in years. He's also apparently done away with a pregame meal consisting of pizza & working with a nutritionist to change his life style (now that he's getting older).

I don't know why but i still think people overlook Aguero. Dude has saved city over and over and over again this campaign and he still was in and out with injury. But when healthy dude is one of the best forwards in the world. Love watching him play.

Nike has literally ruined some fine designed jerseys for next year with these half collars man, it's like they can't help themselves - I don't get it, nothing makes me SMH more than half collars on jerseys (all sports)
Side panels aren't that bad but no idea why they run up the sleeve, that makes it look stupid. New fonts look good tho, bout time.
