agree, theres no reason to panic. we have the money and can offer wages that can be unmatched by many clubs.

And Clyne, his second half performance may have contributed to our declined interest.  We will be fine with Daley O'Shea and Valencia with developing McNair there. I still believe in Rafa though.

Man you dudes getting caught up in the Ramos thing, it's just business.

Ramos is choosing to have a longstanding contract thing and play hardball, and Madrid are showing they're willing to play along too. Both sides are probably expecting this to carry on for a while, and are willing to do it. It's the offseason and there's plenty of time for it.

Ramos wants to go down as a legend for Real. He cares a lot about his legacy and being a part of the club's folklore, and to be captain which he's probably in line for with Iker's imminent departure.

Paulinho is close to leaving Tottenham for Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande, and Spurs are hoping to recoup the full £17 million they paid for the midfielder in 2013, according to the London Evening Standard.

Guangzhou Evergrande are managed by former Brazil and Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari, and the 26-year-old is reportedly receiving a £35,000-per-week wage increase.

The Standard also say Paulinho was wanted by Watford and Fenerbahce.

Carlos Tevez has agreed a deal to leave Juventus and return to Argentina to join Boca Juniors, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Tevez left Boca in 2005 to join Corinthians, before moving to the Premier League with West Ham a year later. His 29 goals in 47 games for Juventus last season helped them to a domestic double and a Champions League final appearance.

Is this dude Ramos really about to leave Real Madrid?

I won't believe it until I see it.

So Dempsey just got suspended for two years or 6 games (whichever comes first) from the "open cup". What is the open cup?

the tournament in which he was playing in when the incident happened.

its a domestic cup in the US, think the FA Cup.

^ I think he got recruited by Coutinho while during Copa play... Philippe should proly receive some type of bonus/fee...

Man serie a bout to be good next season. Only If we can keep niaggolan and strootman stays healthy...

That is what I was thinking. Thanks for clearing it up.
tbh Dempsey probably shouldn't have even been in that position in the first place

it was still very early in the tournament and Sounders were playing a USL team (3rd division, think Football League 1)

so he probably should have been resting, not playing

Random but Spurs fan, I remember Paulinho was actually good his first year at Spurs, what happened? Just seen he's in a verge to go to China and play with his old Brazil coach smh

Btw Inter Milan is easily looking like the team to make a huge comeback into Europe next season. Loving that squad right now

Paulinho just never seemed to really settle in the Premier League play or into his position with Spurs.

His best attribute was his late arriving deep runs into attack, was never quite as effective as it was expected to be... his work rate and defense was pretty average...

Overall, more often than not he just looked out of depth in the Premier League.

Timbers aren't a USL team, even if we did look like it last night ( ._.)
it was Timbers II, no?

If not, nvm what I said
Yeah it was the first class Timbers team. No worries, it's not usual that the 2 MLS teams would play each other so early.

I'm hoping both Milan teams can do better next season. I love AC Milan's team but they're in such disarray that I don't see them being relevant for at least the next 3 years. Free El Shaarawy!

Milan got lucky today and won a blind auction for Italy u21 talent Simone Verdi, they have also been linked to Axel Witsel but with our their luck so far this transfer window with players on big wages he'll probably sign with Inter. I would like to have a like Illarramendi beside De Jong instead of Montolivo, coming back from a broken leg is hard to do when you're 30
