I hate turf. I was lucky enough to only play on grass in my playing days. Having messed around on turf fields with friends post-high school, I can confidently say grass >>>> turf.

I rather play on turf than unprofessionally manicured grass any day. The climate in CA makes finding a decent grass a pitch a rare thing and after a lifetime of turf I prefer it.

Man if it's not Bermuda grass I'm not even trying to hear it. Especially with the AG sole plates that have become the norm. Artificial grass > these 3 inch African savanahs I see too often.

I'm surprised no one responded to this. Blazer's admissions came out as a result of the prosecutors unsealing the 40 page transcript today from the hearing that took place on 11/25/13 involving Blazer. Check out the transcript in the link below if you wish.

Blazer copped to taking bribes all the way back to 1993. He also agreed to wear a wire for over year.

I had mentioned that for any of this action to have an impact, blatter's inner circle of issa hayatou (SVP) & jerome valcke (general secretary) had to be in trouble if not blatter himself. Looks like Valcke got caught up.

What's interesting about valcke is that in 2006, he was fired as fife's marketing director because a US judge had ruled he lied in negotiations with credit card companies on a sponsorship deal. After fifa settled the matter with the credit card companies, blatter appointed valcke as general sec...
