How about that DCU comeback last night? Top of the Eastern Conference and undefeated in 8.

Great to see Kaka live in person. fluid passing attack in the first half, DCU defense tightened up  in the second.

RFK stands were BOUNCING after the second goal. #supportYourLocals

:smokin

I definitely need to get out to RFK and see a game.

I think Hannibal is going to do something very controversial during the CL final... He's been unrepentant about his past transgressions & has deflected blame to others rather than accept responsibility.

In other news, Jose always shows class despite what a lot of people think (along with the few instances where he's playing the game).

Andre Schurrle told BBC that Jose texted him saying he has a PL medal for him & invited him to the last game.

I didn’t know that I’d get a medal when I didn’t play most of the second half of the season,” Schurrle explained. “Jose Mourinho sent me a text to say that I’d get a medal and he asked me to come to the last game. That was very nice for me. I’m really happy for the boys. They played a very good second half of the season so of course me it’s good to get a medal but the boys did the work.

C'mon Gareth,it's about time to end this Real nightmare and to come back home :nerd:

Real Madrid fans :smh: Always acting like spoiled brats. Is it really necessary to go on personal attacks like this?

I know we were all laughing at Bale's misses, but come on, there's a line you don't cross, especially if dude is a player on your own damn club! I never see so much verbal abuse towards under-performing players coming from the fans of any other big club

It's not just Madridistas sfc415 sfc415 , sports fans in general are a crappy miserable group of people. :rolleyes

& speaking of fans, Carobobo striker Aquiles Ocanto (Venezuela) was giving an interview after winning a game against Aragua & a fan of theirs kicked him in the back...

:smh:  Homey got yolked...

Had no idea that Gonzalo Higuain's older brother (by 3 years) is Federico Higuain of the MLS Columbus Crew. I've seen the last name but never though they were brothers...

 cmon man!

(tbh I only realized it after I looked up his FIFA Ultimate Team stats)

Speaking of fifa, this is my son's favorite player on the game right now... Omar Abdulrahman, winger - attacking midfielder that plays for Al Ain.

My son & his team mates have been trying to find obscure but good players/teams to play with. He says this dude is amazing in the game.

Rumor circulating that one of Barca sporting director's Ariedo Braida is in Germany putting the final touches on a deal that would bring Gundogan to Camp Nou in January. The 2 clubs are reportedly negotiating a price somewhere between €32 - €40 million. :rolleyes

... To be taken with a grain of salt...

don't know if it's mentioned in here, but d*ck's sporting goods has quite a few items on sale, including replica jerseys going for as low as $55 (real madrid, barca, ManU, and ManCity to name a few). some good sizes are already cleaned out, but if you live near one of their stores, you can call them up to see if they have any in stock and they should honor the online price.

The rumor is if Carlo gets sacked (which I don't think should happen), the names aside from Klopp are Zidane with Raul as his top assistant, Rafa Benitez, Roberto Mancini, & Andre Villas-Boas.

 @ the last 3 names. As a Barca fan, I hope one of the last 3 are hired.

Another transfer rumor is that Palermo striker Paulo Dybala has snubbed Arsenal & chosen Juve.

AVB would get eaten alive

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...zmann-and-Koke-with-100m-release-clauses.html

Atletico Madrid will attempt to fight Chelsea’s interest in Antoine Griezmann and Koke by offering the pair new contracts with increased £100million release clauses.

But Chelsea’s hopes of persuading Griezmann to turn down a new deal and push for a move to Stamford Bridge appear to have been enhanced by the decision of the Frenchman to take advice on his future from super-agent Jorge Mendes.

Chelsea are admirers of both forward Griezmann and midfielder Koke, whose current Atletico contracts include relatively modest £43m release clauses.

I'd be surprised if Koke left. He comes from generations of Atleti supporters in his family & came from their youth academy.

True, but I was just talking about historically successful clubs. Just compare how Madrid fans treat their players compared to Man United, Liverpool, Barca, Bayern, etc. How often do you see them booing and personally insulting their own players & managers after losing?

Independiente supporter stealing iPads caught on camera... What a "Maroon"... :smh:

This was the presser after the Independiente vs Boca Jrs game...

was talking to xblaze on twitter and he mentioned the fact gotze hasn't flourished under pep and i asked if it was down to the player or the manager.. and then he mentioned their players haven't really faired well once they leave... and then i got to thinking who was the most successful? Rosický?.. thats saying a lot..

To be fair Moyes would sure up that Madrid defense and have Ramos taking pens like Baines...
LOL

You may find this funny, but Jagielka will NOT be laughing when he signs that agreement and finds himself in Champions League footy.

Bale would flourish with putting in countless wild crosses into the box.

And as requested by someone here yesterday, Fellaini would flourish in that all white kit, putting those frail boys like James on the bench.

I think the style of BVB really suited Gotze with the players around him. He flourished during that time, but it doesn't mean he'll easily transfer into a different style with a different supporting cast. Look at Kagawa, he was Godzilla at BVB in the 23, but with a different style and personnel, suddenly he looked below average...
