Anyone ever pay attention to PSG's Serge Aurier? I think he's on loan to the Parisian club. I saw a bit of him this campaign & liked what I saw from the right back. Solid defender, nice tackling ability, & passes well... I wouldn't mind seeing him get a shot with the Blaugrana...

Rumors that Barca have identified Sevilla right back Aleix Vidal as a replacement for Alves. What a whirl wind for this dude. Played well for Almeria the previous campaign (club had a solid season) & came over to Sevilla & did even better...
Isn't he a midfielder ?

Aurier is good, better than VDW. That's why there were talks of Gregory possibly leaving their summer

Good catch Tommy... The force is strong with you...

He was bought as a midfielder from Almeria but due to roster turnover & injuries he was asked to play right back where he did very well.

I'd like to see what Serge Aurier can do for Barca though... Upside is huge & the transfer fee wouldn't be much.

BTW, dudes are already pleading guilty to the fifa corruption charges ready to take the fall. They include ex-FIFA chief Chuck Blazer, former senior fifa official Jack Warner's sons Daryll & Daryan Warner, & Jose Hawilla an executive of the Brazil-based sports marketing firm Traffic Sports.

The espn fc report is stating Hawilla has agreed to forfeit over $151 million. :x

Edit - Prince Ali bin Al Hussein should come out with an all out media assault demanding to vote for change amidst these corruption charges... The vote is this week isn't it?

well yea I would cause they are trash. I view clubs on how they are currently performing not on how the did 15-20yrs ago. Do I call Man U, or City trash no.
New to this and don't have a clue to this. Novice.

He's going to win the election this week in a landslide...

I hope he doesn't though because if there is ever a time for there to be a change, right now would be it.

Man as much as I wanna be proud of the USA for this I really doubt there's any nobility in the cause.

We're just salty we can't compete with ninjas willing to dish out oil money and didn't get the WC ourselves, which would generate tons of revenue.

I'm still happy somebody is finally cracking down on what seemed like an untouchable entity, but let's not think this is actually in the name of human rights and justice against the corrupt. If our country did actually use its resources toward...yea whatever you get the point

There's a good possibility American sponsors (Coke, McDonalds) had a huge part in this. I'd have to assume that there would be some clause in their contracts that allows them to drop without penalty if the sponsored company runs into legal issues.

It definitely wasn't because of human rights or having a moral compass, however, if that's what it took to go after FIFA, so be it.

EL final today, Sevilla vs. Dnipro in Warsaw. 2:45PM ET on foxsports1. Not sure about injuries for Dnipro, but Sevilla will be without CB Nicolas Pareja, MF Sebastian Cristoforo, & keeper Beto...

Cool arial shot of Camp Nou with the Xavi tribute banner.

How true is his? I like Vidal a lot and think this would be a good signing...but is Montoya still being looked over that much? I still have fath in him.

I refuse to believe that Brendan had any say in Kolo's one-year extension. That has got to be a decision from that transfer commitee of theirs.

I don't remember a single game this season that I saw Kolo playing in, making me think he's a solid option.
Rodgers loves Kolo. Last season when Kolo kept throwing games and letting people run pass him, for some strange reason Rodgers kept playing him while a healthy Sakho was on the bench. You're giving this guy too much credit.

 smh ayi yi yi...

Um, they could be pleading guilty so soon because they're cooperating with Authorities and the US Attorney will grant them a less harsh sentence. (This is America, we negotiate with snitches all the time )

I don't see all those dudes taking the fall and potentially going to prison to protect a 70 year old man from Switzerland. Someone (maybe more) will be snitching on Blatter or other members of the hierarchy.

We're not dealing with someone like Cam'ron here
