- Final decision on whether La Liga play will continue this weekend will be made tomorrow.

- Carlo was banned 2 matches for mockingly clapping at the officials following the draw with Valencia at the Bernabeu last weekend.

Today's CL game should be a good one. I would say the pressure is all on Madrid. This Juve side will most likely come into this game pretty relaxed & ready to play.

I just hope Massimiliano unleashes the hounds & not just sit back & have his side play defensively.

Pogba :nthat: Sporting some custom Magista Obras.

Forca Barca!

Hallo Berlin!

I haven't seen Barca as a team dribble & attack like this in 3-4 years.

Seeing them push forward like they've been playing has been beautiful to see.

It helps when you have Neymar, Hannibal, & Messi up front obviously but you have to give credit to Enrique too.

There were enough naysayers that stated Messi wouldn't jive playing on the wing but Enrique has really tinkered with this team that allows Messi to drift into the middle of the pitch playing that playmaker role so effectively. :nthat:

Everyone knows what role they're supposed to have especially Rakitic & Busquets (& to a lesser extent Alves). They cover very nicely whenever Messi roams.

Heard Jos send Mendes to Madrid to help get the deal for Griezmann done. Man I really like what Jose has done since he came back on the transfer market. Getting Fab, Matic, Costa, Willian, Cuadrado all while making a profit by selling DeBryune, Mata, m Luiz. We now have a young squad and also have the best academy in England. Really excited about the future of Solanke, Loftus-Cheek, Ake, Brown, and Bramford

From Juve's YT site... Has me hype for the game today.

Pogba's Italian is pretty good. My other favorite young player outside Isco & Thiago.

Mou has to be offloading somebody. Honestly I can see Oscar getting the boot. Willian has actually played as a #10 a few times and brings a lot of the same attributes Oscar does, primarily tracking back aggressively and consistently. That creates more opportunities for time on the pitch for Griezmann (if he actually ends up coming here) and Cuadrado.

We would be very deadly when attacking too.

I'll believe it when I see it (Griez moving).

If that indeed happens, I wonder who Atleti will target if Griez does go?

I think Mandzukic might be gone after this campaign. There has been rumors of he & Cholo not getting along at all.

I see Ramires being sold first before Oscar, but I also heard rumors of Chelsea offering both Ramires n Oscar plus cash for Progba

Man today decides my Blancos' season

Dudes are gassed from going all out against Valencia, and have been in shaky form with key injuries.

They're gunna have to dig deep against a side that historically knows how to get it done defensively.

Real is also gunna have all the pressure in the world on them since Barca just punched they're ticket to Berlin yesterday.

But playing with all the pressure and expectations on you is what being a Real Madrid player is all about.

In Carlo da Don we trust (as long as Ramos isn't in the midfield.) I'm expecting to be out of my seat with my blinds closed for the whole 90 so my neighbors don't think I'm a psycho

Let's get thissss!!

ive always had a deep hatred for liverpool but i have nothing but the utmost respect for gerrard.

sad to see the gerrard, lampard, and scholes are all gone now.

you see what they meant to the english game although they could never get it right on an international level. their respective club teams were all so good.

GO JUVE!

even though i expect a classico for the final.

if the spanish league suspends all games does the trophy still go to barca?

LFP president Javier Tebas said this, "If there is a strike, La Liga could finish." Not sure what he meant by that & the post I saw it from didn't clarify what that statement specifically meant. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Looks like the Spanish court is summoning Barca to appear before them over the Neymar transfer... More info to come later... :smh:

which I knew how to post pics here. My boy just came back from Italy and got me a Progba kit from the stadium. I've been lucky to get all the kits I own from the respective clubs stadium/shop

I was rewatching the Barca vs Bayern game last night, and realized i am not a big fan of UCL english commentators. I usually watch UCL games on Fox Deportes with John Laguna and Christian Bozzo.

I hope. But honestly I think Real will get through today 2-0

The head ref noted in his post game report stating about Carlo, "At the end of the match, the home coach D. Carlo Ancelotti, from 30 metres away, addressed me [with] insistent clapping and ostensibly in disapproval with our performance. He then retreated to the tunnel where he repeated the same action with my No.1 assistant.' You can't do that to a ref.

AS quoted the discipline code (article 117) as saying, "To address the referees, executives or sports authorities in terms or with attitudes of contempt or disregard, provided the action does not constitute a more serious offence, is punishable with a suspension of two to three matches or for a period of up to a month."

In so to the letter of the law, Carlo is guilty. He's been around long enough to know what he was doing.

Complaining about refs is stupid. There is always something the team on the losing end could've done so a questionable call wouldn't be factor... :rolleyes

Who do the young NTers say it? This or QFT.

I only understand every 4th or 5th word but the broadcast from the fox Deportes crew is sooooo much better...

From a physiological aspect it does. A team stacked with tall imposing players that play physically will mentally affect an opposition with much shorter players

Jupp Heinkes built Bayern into the prototypical German team. Pep trying to make Bayern look and play like Barca shows how one track minded he is. Still overrated
This guy already contradicted himself by saying Bernat shouldn't be playing and why did they get rid of Shaqiri. You complained about height when both players are under 5'8.

Height does not matter in football when 85% of the game is played on the ground

ill have to disagree with this.

barca's treble team was tiny.

barca's team is still tiny. real madrid are giants compared to them. these are grown men that whole intimidation factor goes out the window when you hit puberty. the players were born with footballs at their feet.

My brother and I aren't spanish speakers, and get the spanish language broadcasts in **** definition...

but we had to change the channel on the first leg

it was putting us to sleep. we didn't feel like we were watching a "main event" type match up.

it felt so boring. and i think a critical part of bringing the sport to more people is getting commentators that capture the excitement of the game. Like Ray and Phil do.

Still haven't seen anything out of Cuadrado that excites me yet, hopefully next season he shows out. An attacking trio of Hazard, Griezzman and Cuads/Wilian would be sick

i dont think he'll amount to a dominant wing player.

when barca tried to sign him they were going to make him a wing back to take dani alves's spot.
