This could end really well for Schalke....

If they can go in with that away goal...that's good business for them...

Heartbreak in Eastlands. Lost focus defensively, multiple opportunities for a tidy clearance. Golden chance to save a point returning home.

Boateng sniping in the second-half like a Tom Clancy book. Get off me, Pep.

Dude, Mourinho was right - Pep lost all his hair because he's a stress machine. I watched the last 15 mins and this dude was so damn crazy and animated.

Either Roma are really good, or CSKA are horrendous. Either way Chelsea are gonna have to step their game up from what happened today.

Roma is that good, very legit side. May not unseat Bayern for top club in the group, but City is in serious trouble with advancing in E.

City are just never going to be a good European team, poor guys
At this point it has to be some part stigma, another part psychological. I'm not sure how much blame NT'ers want to place on Mancini and Pellegrini.

They always do seem to be in the toughest group every year tho, can't dispute that.

Still tho, they should be making it out the group. If they don't make it out this year, fire Pellegrini.

I don't know if it's Pellegrini to blame here.

I often feel like while Citeh have a lot of quality, when Silva is mis-firing and YAYA isn't around, Citeh is useless. Things only get worse when Aguero is injured (which seems to be happening far more often)

I would tend to agree about sacking Pellgrini. There's a good chance City fails to advance out of Group E in CL, in favor of Roma, and also not securing the domestic title (Chelsea). In which case it becomes difficult to defend Pellegrini.

"Kun" is too vital to City's attack to miss important matches. Aguero's goal-scoring is crucial, and his quality is far superior to Dzeko and Jovetic.

I'll agree with that, City def are an average side when Silva and Toure are out or not playing well. Still tho, Pellegrini needs to go if they don't make it out the group. Enough is enough.

I don't know why he has Aguero come off the bench, is he hurt again? He needs to be starting these games.

Perhaps caution (minor knock?) sandwiched between domestic fixtures against Gunners and Chelsea.
