Guardiola would like a word with you.
One Cl winner/ copa del Rey winner, one WC winner, one league winner/Cl finalist .. I don't see how pep had a better yr but that's just me

Fair play. I would have just thought the way Bayern won their league, would possibly have him up for contention.

However, from the reading I'm doing, everyone keeps saying "don't forget it's a WC year, so that will weigh in heavily).

Every year i seriously try to watch the MLS.  I give effort.  My college friends are philadelphia union season ticket holders and i try to watch DC united.  But it is hard.  Its like asking me to watch the raiders vs the jags.  Its not even elitism or snobery its just my attention span.  I start out with good intentions....turn on the game...then within 15 minutes my hand changes the channel.  I stop and say wait you have to watch it....then i try again...same thing happens.  It just isn't an entertaining product to me.  I don't know how to really word it but i don't know why i should struggle to watch something.

I have seen good MLS games.  But the infrequency of them is what makes it hard to continue to watch.  And now we have options.  DC united plays saturday afternoon games...and so does la liga...sooooo

Just goto the games, and get clattered in the stands with friends

That's what we do.

Bayern won the league easy but they didn't perform as good as the did before Pep arrived.

IMO Simeone is way more deserving of the award over both Ancelotti or Lowe. Yes Real won CL, but they had to go to injury time against Atletico, whose best player was injured. Simeone did more with a much smaller squad.

If I had a vote, Cholo would get my Ballon d'Or vote. It shouldn't even be close IMO. There is not a football team out there that is the total embodiment of it's manager's philosophy like Atleti.

Haven't seen that level of commitment to manager & team since Pep's Barca. What's even more amazing is the budget Cholo has to work with. How many managers can still find success despite losing the likes of Falcao & Costa?

As far as MLS, I watch semi regularly. Specifically when there are certain match ups with teams that have good players. Loved watching Bradley Wright Phillips play alongside Thierry Henry... The Portland vs Seattle games are entertaining to me. I also watch Liga MX too (which is still hands down a much better league than MLS - 100 times talent wise).

Carlos Vela along with Jona Dos Santos and Chuy Corona gets called up for the November friendlies. :D

Hopefully Vela comes thru and accepts the call up.

Would be nice to see Vela - Gio - Hernandez up top. :wow:

Moving tribute to Senzo Meyiwa, the 27 year old keeper & captain for the Orlando Pirates who was murdered during a robbery attempt. RIP.

Let me keep it three hunna with you...

:smh:

Dude was messin around with this broad http://instagram.com/kelly_khumalo, which is where he died saving her, who for some reason has a tainted box, cause every time someone is messing with her, stuff happens (another dude ended up in wheelchair, another dude in jail and now Senzo dead). The following day after Senzo was killed, she was seen riding around in his X6m. Bear in mind here, she was the side babe, cause his wife was at home waiting on dude, while he was out with Kelly at her crib. He had already dipped out on the wife smashin Kelly, and Kelly even put her hands on the wife, and he did nothing about it :smh:

Dude took a bullet for his side babe basically....

There's a lot of talk about her family apparently setting the whole thing up, but I think that's just pigeon talk really.

Huh... that's sad... The media reports I've read said the robbers were trying to get mobile phones & cash... :smh:

Hannibal not getting on the short list is appropriate. He didn't deserve to be. You shouldn't celebrate infamy like that.

Truth be told, he will have another episode of some sort on the pitch... Maybe not during this campaign but it will be a very public spectacle again especially since Hannibal's history.

I'm not celebrating anything, I'm just saying he's one of the best players in the world and deserves to make that list after his season with Liverpool.

Go ask Brandon Rodgers how they're doing

Whelp, El Cholo picked up best manager for La Liga last night. Ronnie got a hat trick of accolades for best player, best forward, & best goal. His fellow Los Blancos teammate Modric won best midfielder while Don Iniesta won best attacking mid (?). Keylor Navas won best keeper for his exploits at Levante. Sergio Ramos won best defender (again ?).

I don't know how Navas was the best keeper, that award should have went to Courtois

Catching bits of the Classico rebroadcast here at work... Barca is lucky Madrid didn't score more than the 3 goals they did... :smh:

Messed up...

Also, you'd think celebrities would learn from the Donald Sterling, Michael Phelps, etc. incidents that whatever they do is going to be caught on camera...

So I guess between Spartak Moscow and Dynamo Moscow, they have a strange pre-match tradition in which each side's fans send 38 participants to fight the other side on an empty highway.....

No weapons, and when one side has won they help the losing side up and shake hands and applaud.

Very strange.... and kinda terrifying

Looks like the 15 year old Norwegian kid, Martin Odegaard is going to visit Ajax. That would be a great first club for him to go to...

I will probably weep if Gareth Bale ends up at United....

Not happening. This thing is getting overblown because he's been out a couple weeks. Like suddenly Madrid started playing better without him, not true, they started playing well in that Champions League game where he scored that ridiculous goal. It's not because Gareth Bale is out.

Thing is tho, he looks like he's a United player. Him with Di Maria would be :x

But that wouldn't happen anytime soon, if at all. No need to worry rck.
