The salt in the thread title :smh:

I understand we all have bias and team preference but it doesn't belong in the thread title...

Objectivity is a lost art in sports fanhood, but some of us should utilize it on occasion.

Come on bro :smh: What could I possibly be salty about Fresco?

I wanted (no I was pushing) for Falcao to go to Arsenal. I said "Arsenal are one player away from finally winning it".

Dude the Truth hurts sometimes, so I and many people in this thread like to mix it in with humor. (Like United not won a game yet, or Real paying for players they don't need, etc) Pretty all around fair criticism/funny banter for all the major teams. You really gotta lighten up guy, and whichever two guys from the cannon brigade actually repped you.

We know how this thread goes down.

So Shaktar goes from being shelled to their HQ now being occupied by armed men. Crazy summer for those guys.

Young Erik on the score sheet

Argentina's been putting in work :smokin. Really makes you wonder about how different the WC final could've turned out with Di Maria out there

Really makes you wonder what would have happened if Di Maria had played the final :nerd:
My second thought is that R.Madrid made a huge mistake by letting Di Maria walk out...

Spurs' patient approach with Lamela will prove successful this campaign under Mauri.
Lamela and Chadli, and to a more all encompassing extent, pretty much all their signings from the Gareth Bale-money

, showing signs of life and resurgence in their 2nd season will essentially make up for the lack of a splashy signing during this transfer window for Spurs.

Although I do like Dier thus far

Pipita had his opportunities. Di Maria alone would be hard-pressed to swing the balance of the German midfield, as tight as the match was prior to Gotze's heroics. But yes, RM made a drastic error with unwillingness to meet Angel's salary demands, nearly double. Didn't love the James transfer fee either, but time will tell with J-Rod acclimating to the Bernabeu.

Chadli is the forgotten Belgian footballer. Versatile, good shot, ample quality with both feet.

Chadli has been pffffffft in this infant 3/38th stage of the EPL season.

Looking like a new man out there.... or at least a guy who is now acclimated and comfortable to the style of play

Has nothing to do with patience.

Lamela was actually injured the bulk of last season. He had pain in his leg, and the doctors said they couldn't find the problem. Spurs doctors basically believed he was making it up. Finally late last season, they found out there was some minor injury in his back that was causing pain shooting down to his leg, so he was misdiagnosed. Hence you see he's moving around a lot more freely and comfortably.

I heard about this on Football Today one of the analysts were explaining the Spurs blunder.

Exactly, and the coaching staff or board made the executive decision not to rush Lamela back from injury too hastily. There was pressure from supporters and neutrals alike for Lamela to fill Bale's shoes after the hefty price tag. Tottenham did not cave to those demands or opinions. Hence why I credit them.

The engine with another hand in that one :smokin

Edit: And as I type that he scores  :pimp:
