Yeah, that's what I was basing my comment on. But what players do you see coming to MUTD? I feel the LB position needs to be addressed. As much effort as I see from Ashley Young covering up left back, I doubt he can do so successfully against stronger teams.

Unless they get a CB and move Rojo to left where he can probably feel more comfortable and overlap with Angel Di Maria.

its incredible the injuries, someone needs to investigate this is there a united player who hasnt been injured this year?

david da gawd hasn't missed a single game, injured, but started all matches and rvp hasn't been injured

3rd place with all those injuries. Smh. This LVG guy still isn't doing enough though....smh United should be top of the table...I am not impressed...

Wonder if Moyes can come back in Jan to save the season.
.

I agree with this. Man U with all the funds they spent and the players they have look pathetic. I mean they only taken away 10 points from the top 6 teams from the table, and currently on a five game win streak. You can't possibly defend what you're seeing & think it's fundamentally better than what one saw under Moyes.

Its like going to Fridays and only being served Ruth Chris.

But hey its 3rd place.

anyone in the south bay area, robbie keane is buying drinks for the first 200 fans at hennesseys tonight in hermosa beach. galaxy championship celebration starts at 7

But where's the vid showing his left foot slipping on the loose dirt? [emoji]128557[/emoji]

I still don't understand how that back line looks so lost this far into the campaign especially under a veteran manager. They looked utterly lost in the portions of the game I saw whenever South Hampton entered the final 1/3.

United are very lucky The Saints didn't score more...

because we have yet to field the same defensive back line and or formation in more then 2 consecutive matches..

only issue I have with LVG is this 3-5-2 formation and his motivation for using it. My fear is he keeps getting results with it. Even though we don't control games or hold possession with it. Which to me goes against his "philosophy" . I really hope we don't try that ish again this Sunday cuz eventually that luck has to run out.

We deff didnt deserve to win last night, IMO we didnt even deserve a draw.. but with the injuries we have had to deal with, ill take that luck.

I realize that injuries have a lot to do with that but the full backs & CBs don't even look like they're paying attention to the fundamentals of their positions.

They're out of position too much, making the wrong reads, ball watching, etc... These are all things that have nothing to do with fielding the same players or formation. These are things that should not be happening with a veteran manager.

Damn, don't know which game to watch... Think I'm going to watch Juve vs Atleti then check in on Arsenal/Galatasaray & Pool/Basel...
