Not because I'm Portuguese, but if Ronaldo doesn't win it'd be a travesty.

If they were giving awards to the WC winners best player each year than Messi shouldn't have won in 2010, Iniesta should have. But they gave it to Messi - because truthfully he was the best player in the world that year. So Ronaldo deserves it this year judging by those standards (Since the Ballon D'or & FIFA merged).

Still think GK's should have their own award since it's a speciality position.

Seems to me Yedlin is the only USMNT member from Brazil who's been able to step up his level of play for club since returning from the World Cup.

I had presidential box suite tickets for the game originally through my connect...then Senzo Meyiwa was killed and the game was shifted to today, a day when I was booked to be out of town for the weekend. So I passed my tickets on, and since my trip was cancelled yesterday morning...I'm stuck...watching the game...on tv....again

University of Maryland Baltimore County is on a Cinderella run in the footy NCAA tournament!!!

They won all their games on the road during the tourney beating Wake Forest at home, then University of Maryland at College Park (Last year's runner up in the championship), then Louisville at home, & now Creighton. This team has traveled over 1000 miles during the tournament.

What makes this even more impressive is the team is maintaining a 3.0 GPA average. 5 of the players have a 4.0 GPA.

The team is off to the NCAA Championship!
