Oh yeah, got that but I thought there might be a way to cater the notifications for just the start or final of the game but not all the goals. Kind of like the espn app has or am I still missing that option?

I tried looking for that too before, but na I don't think you can. That's the only thing that's
about the app. Once you add a team to your favorites you will always get notifications for Start Time, Goals scored, & the Final. (Maybe I just didn't find it?, I remember looking hard enough a couple months ago when the season started tho).
