I'm very excited about the Balo transfer. He seems more mature and isn't in the news as much for foolishness.I'm confident he will pla well for us and Rodgers will help keep him on the right track. Rumors have us linked with Toby Alderlongname (Atleti) who has the ability to play CB. That's how scarce the quality of available CB's is now.

Given our transfer dealings in the past, it leaves us with access to very little, IE we aren't in the running for Benatia (Roma). I'm curious as to who else is even available this late in the summer.

I honestly don't know how Negredo would pass a medical for Valencia but stranger things have happen plus they were super pushy to get our young boy Zuculini on loan so they may stop at nothing to get Negredo.

If we get 25M for Negredo + 22 from Garcia/Rodwell + the 12 million Milan still owes us and the sell on fee from the Balo transfer, Falcao or Di Maria are highly linked with an outside shot at Reus would be a good piece of business.
