Fml, should've pursued professional sports. Get to play around with a ball all day, get paid millions for it, fame, fans and the women.
I know I oversimplified it but still :x

QFT.
It's still possible if you're driven, put in the hard work, and make sacrifices. Not to mention have the right people around you helping out along the way.

It's something I'm currently pursuing. There's this 16 yr old kid who I've played pick up with who just got signed to a club in Holland like back in June.

play pickup with guys who played pros overseas and they always tell me i have what it takes to make a mls squad atleast if i ever dedicated myself to the game..i didnt even kick a soccer ball seriously till i was 21 lol. I'm 22 now...

biggest regret ill ever have..wasted all those years playing bball/football

I always look up players that started late and its amazing how many good players didnt even make a team till they were like 25+

I'm 22, don't think it would happen. I'm fiding it difficult as is to find people to play with here in NY. All these cats wanna do is play basketball :rolleyes

I used to play Bball all the time when I was younger. Picked up soccer at 19, tore my hips, when I recovered I tore my achilles playing bball.

**** footie

Nah but seriously it makes me sad I can never play it, even lightly :frown:

Truth is, playing professionally can be very different. I remember David Bentley saying that he fell out of love with football because of the way it's handled on a professional premier league standard. Granted he could be just trying to cover for the fact that he wasn't as good as he should have been. But I think he was going on about the drills and consistent regiments took the fun out of it.

Bojan can't even get a start :smh:

...if 3-4 years ago, you were to tell me that Bojan would be on the bench at Stoke, I wouldn't even take your footballing opinion serious.

Crazy times....

QPR's idea of defence is absolutely shocking....at this moment they are only outdone by Newcastle, simple cause Pardew's boys don't even bother to run while on the pitch...

Diouf 1 - 0 QPR
