Not much different that LvG looks now... :rolleyes

Isn't LvG the same statistically as Moyes at this point in the campaign despite having spent like 150+ mill in the transfer market?

Same thing in the equation is Woodward...
Oh yeah I'm not disputing that, I'm just saying Moyes in La Liga might not be so crazy.

i own this book, its bigger then a bible...

I thought Balague was also working on a cr7 book, cant see him getting access now :smh:

This guy, Gilliam Balague - could this guy be the the NTalker formerly known as @abovelegit1 ? hmmm

Messi-Nuts are pulling out all the cards to make Ronaldo get less votes, right before the voting starts. :smh:

I'll be surprised if Cholo leaves Atleti for City. Atleti plays exactly the way he wants them to, there really isn't another team like Cholo's side that's the embodiment of how a manager wants them to play.

I would wager to bet he looks at the City squad & sees a bunch of millionaire footballers who care more about what car they're going to buy next or where their next holiday will be rather than play the kind of football that Cholo wants them to play.

I think City may look to see how Kloop feels right about now with Dortmund swimming towards the bottom of the table...

I too would be surprised if Cholo leaves for Citeh.

But then again, I would be surprised if David Moyes was hired in La Liga, and look how that ended up.

Klopp would end up at Arsenal before Citeh.

So it continues...Carrick just suffered a groin injury after just playing for the first time in months on Saturday :smh:. This is getting ridiculous

No I don't think Cholo plateaued at Atleti. I think he could win at least 2 more league titles & if things fall right a CL title too.

Barca are still in flux (I don't things will settle there anytime soon despite whatever manager they have) & Madrid will still experiences stretches where they falter here & there.

So having said that, Cholo can still achieve alot at Atleti.

Cholo will find the football environment completely different in England than in Spain (in a negative sense). The DNA of the players he has at Atleti are completely different than City - more "wossified" if you will.

Correct me if im wrong, isn't Atleti still under hugs debts? If so, I can see Cholo leaving for City. It sucks to manage a club who has to sell its best player every year. Well must suck for every manage not named Wenger

Most of the La Liga clubs operate with sizable debts but still seem to do well in terms of the football performance.

How many clubs in Europe could say they could do better losing a striker like Falcao who was in top form at the time?

They also seemed to great shoppers in the transfer market using the money derived from the Costa & Luis deals to purchase Griezmann, Mandzukic, Raul Jiminez, & Cristian Ansaldi to name a few.

Sheikh Mansour would have to pony up a lot of sheckles for Cholo to refuse. Plus I'm not sure how he'd like the English media...

Atleti best chance at ever winning the cl has come and gone. they had a golden moment..and blew it.

Kimchi Papi Kimchi Papi and I seem to be on opposite sides of the spectrum on this matter. I think Atleti has maxed out their current potential, last year's CL Final was their pinnacle. Can't see the club as a whole doing better without Costa and others. I know Mandzukic and Griezmann are quality replacements, it's no snub.

If you watched the Atleti team week in & week out, you'd have a better understanding just how competitive they are. You'd also understand better if you saw Cholo play during his hey day.

Watching English football is like eating porridge all the time. You don't know there is stuff out there like Steak, gumbo, sancocho, sushi, dim sum, carbonara, so you don't know no better.

Cholo runs Jose's game plan better than Jose ever did & with 1/10 of the dough for talent.

Not sure if PSK is firing bullets at me.

No shots fired Champ (I even repped your post)... You'll always be cool with me even though you're a Madrid fan.

One of the most genuine dudes on NT as far as I'm concerned.

Right back atcha, my dude.

I watch Atleti a fair amount, but even I'll concede you probably watch Simeone's side more. What I'm seeing and saying is that they only 4 times last domestic campaign, twice already in the present one. 6 draws in their title-winning run, twice already in 2014-2015.

Wow, El Tri pressing very high today...

Part of Atleti's problem this campaign are injuries very early on & Cholo being suspended for 4 games. Their Sociedad loss was due in part to Guilherme Siqueira being sent off in the game. Atleti actually settled down & played better but couldn't hold off Sociedad from scoring again with just 10 men.

Sum total, Atletico has enough new players on the squad that are learning the way they play. They'll be ok.

Edit - got damn... Brazil beating up on Turkey 0-4...

Interesting to see, my friend. Picked Atleti to win La Liga and Dortmund to secure Bundesliga. The stars haven't aligned.

Look at the La Liga table & how close it is from #1 through #7. Atleti could still win it especially since Barca is in flux & Perez only seems to be concerned with the CL.

Atleti had a once in a lifetime chance last season. Had pep/jose in their first years with there teams, barca with a interm manager they weren't comfortable with, a bunch of teams underachieved last season in the cl.

that wont happen again..or as long as cholo is managing atleti..no way are they topping barca/rm this season.

ill eat crow if that happens.
