Working from home today & saw the Villa vs Spuds match... I think Benteke unfairly got a red, especially since Spud's Mason antagonized him. If anything, they both should've gotten yellows. NBC should've panned to Roy Keane to see his reaction.

I gotta say, NBC has done a phenomenal job with their Prem coverage. I wish BEIN would follow NBC's lead in their coverage of La Liga. Their punditry is spot on. It's not spectacular but it's solid unlike Fox & ESPN. They don't feel the need for bombastic comments to rile up viewers. Just straight up coverage & analysis.
 
Hey guys I've been very busy recently so many I've been missing out on this thread, but just wanted to let you know I'll be at Anfield on Saturday to see Chelsea take on Liverpool. I will make sure I get some good pictures and I will post them up when I get back.

I was AT last night's DCU vs Red Bulls match, as one of about 300 DCU supporters that trekked it to dirty jerz to watch our team play. 

It was a disappointing evening to say the least. The attack was non-existent and the Attacking midfield lacked any creativity and provided little to no service to our two strikers (Fabian Espindola and Eddie Johnson). It didn't help that the Red Bull backline was a stingy concrete wall, and THE GAWD Titi Henry destroyed us in the middle of the park. Passes were on point and the defense had no choice but to give him space as he still has ill footwork.

Allowing the late goal is gonna make it hard to recover down 2-0, but if anyone can do it, its this hardworking band of DCU misfits, who won the east after only winning THREE games last year.

Saturday can't get here soon enough.
 
2 more legit penalty appeals today from Crystal Palace in the BPL. What's up with the inconsistencies this weekend? Surely the FA or whoever will look at em. I hate to see a cheaply called PK but there were some obvious ones not called this weekend and today.

Nice, I wanted to go to last night's match but had to take care of a few things at home.

However, I'm all in for next year as I recently bought season tickets. I used to go with my pops all the time back in the day so I am excited to return the favor. Also, MLS matches don't over lap too much into my Caps season tickets so year round sports for me!

Couldn't agree more with your assessment, we lacked a sense of cohesion in the midfield.

The turn around this year has been exciting to watch unfold.
 
Julian Draxler is out until at least January with a torn hammy that will require surgery. What's interesting is Schalke deferred the situation to the German national team's medical staff... :rolleyes
 
Keep your head up Heggsy, no doubt in my mind the Leichester Wolves can make it. I haven't seen you guys play but I believe.
