It's being reported that Barca Prez Bartomeu has reached out to Sevilla's Monchi who apparently covets the position available but has ties to Agusti Benedito who ran against Rosell back in 2010. There are conflicting reports that he has accepted & that he's declined the offer.

As I stated in last campaign's thread & this thread, the club should've reached out to Frank de Boer after Tito stepped down. I'd argue he should've gotten the position before Tito but I understand why Tito was picked.

de Boer has proven himself at Ajax (4 Eredivisie titles since becoming manager in 2010) & is due for a promotion to a bigger club. He's also been very involved with Ajax's academy & would do well with La Masia...

Messi coming to Chelsea would be ridiculous. Him fitting into Jose's style and starting 11 would be a challenge and feel that him being involved a consequence would be some other player getting the Juan Mata treatment. I'd prefer Hazard over Messi

But... If we can get someone like Varane though... Take over Cahill or Terry, despite Jose's love for them would be nice. That's my wishful thinking. But Christ if you look at our second team alone[emoji]128551[/emoji] (everyone on loan)
