That Iran vs Iraq game looked hype especially given the 2 countries involved.

The Japan vs UAE ended much in the same way with UAE advancing in an upset. The penalties missed by Honda & Kagawa were terrible.

I'm obviously pulling for the Koreans (who will have their hands full with Iran) in the semi finals, but I think it's the Socceroos tourney to lose.

He's 23. Good size 6ft 1. Fearless in the air, able to distribute passes from the cb. Great command, athletic, has pace. An ok defender, but getting better. Fulfills the need for cb depth. Thats just reports from other forums.

Still think we get a quality in the summer whether its Laporte or hummels. Blackett, McNair may not be renewed this summer and jones, smalling, and Evans in 2016. Surely 2/3 will be gone soon. Carrick probably gets the rolling one yr contract.

Low risk, high reward player. Vidic is the player he models his game after with his serbian roots. An OG ManU signing that eiddy loves, a potential diamond in the rough. Seems like a d-bag, so he's perfect for us. Here's him slapping the head of a Swiss politician.
