remember i ran into him leaving the Bernabeu after el classico... his chick was :smokin

Good for him.. i really just want Blatter out

Figo and like 10 other dudes want to run now. They're gonna split votes and hand it to Sepp. :\

Ronnie banned for 2 games. Will miss La Real this weekend & Sevilla 2/4/15 but will be able to play in the Madrid derby.

conspiracy.. should have been 3 game minimum.. having watch the game back, i feel like he was trying desperately to get carded... wanted a vacation or something

Yeah, I thought for sure he'd miss 3-4 games too...

Edit - I see why now. Despite seeing the punch, the ref only included the kick on Cordoba's fullback Jose Crespo & didn't include the punch moments earlier.

It's funny, Ronnie got a 3 game ban this time last year for almost the same exact scuffle against Athletic Bilbao... :rolleyes

This Chelsea team is a tier 2 squad, and I doubt they pay up so we'll be staying that way for a now.

So basically they are not "willing" to sell cuadrado cuz no way hes worth 35 mil with FFP looming

I'm glad Fiorentina are holding firm on the price. All these clubs should hold stead fast on the price they want as these big clubs attempt to prey & pilfer (Barca included in that "big club" group)...

the only problem i see with that is aside from united, barca, and real who can pay these outlandish prices for more then 1 player?.. We all know who the selling club are.. they gotta stop acting like they don't view these players as financial investments.. you already see Chelsea, city, **** even real are investing in younger players... minimal risk for the investment

You would think with the financial infrastructure the big teams have, they'd have better scouting so they can identify these players just like these smaller clubs do & get them cheaper.

But that goes into what I've been mentioning here & there. Foreign investment & Russian Oligarch are killing football culture. There just throwing money at buying name brand players (a good portion of these players end up not working out) & not developing their youth programs & scouting network.

At some point, the bubble will burst. Just ask Serie A... They had monsterous TV deals & Serie A had the best football product & no end was in sight.

The Russian economy & the Middle East's isn't doing well so we'll see how they effects these football teams that have such owners.

BTW, it looks like Illarra is blocking a tranfer to Athletic... They're prepared to pay €25 mil but he'd rather stay with Madrid.

Interesting reads on the Illarra situation...
