Never thought I'd say this but Madrid really miss Sergio Ramos. But Casillas man, this dude has been terrible for the better part of two years, Mourinho spotted it before anyone else did. Modric is coming back so thats a big positive, they really need him. James is just weeks away, Real can turn it around.

They can still win the CL, I don't think anyone would be surprised if they did. It's weird tho man, during that win streak they were scoring amazing goals and passing the ball beautifully, they were quite a watch. Now their offense is in shambles and their defense looks blindsided - but the constant variable throughout the win streak and the crisis they're in now is - Iker Casillas. He's sucked throughout it all and Madrid need to get rid of the "Saint" or else it just hurts them and his legacy.

He's been arguably the best and most consistent out of the new signings along with Rojo and Herrera. He adds a calming presence to the midfield,is a great passer and usually defends pretty well. I'd probably put money on him staying on the squad for a little while after this season.

That was a tough game for Real. Glad they got through and hopefully Modric gets healthy and can help out in the Midfield.

Bale would make a good Sub i think once Modric and James get back healthy.
The defense yesterday was shaky but they had no midfield help at all. Isco was basically running as a forward with Benz Bale and CR. So that left a ton of room for Kroos to cover. I felt like Schalke constantly had a numbers advantage going forward. Not to mention how unorganized RM was at times. When the ball was on the wings they looked so confused at times.

Sad but at times Ronnie was the only one who looked like he wanted it. He looked fed up when he was actually chasing down balls and putting pressure on the outside backs. But Mad Ronaldo = Good Ronaldo. Dude seems to always shine when he wants his team to respond.
