£30 mil for Depay? That's pretty much a bargain because it isn't gonna get any lower if he keeps developing.

With the Danilo signing will this be the beginning of the end for Carvajal? Or are they just gonna try out both and stick with the most consistent...either way Porto making money like usual

A lot of questions still for Spain and the Netherlands heading into Euro 2016  at Hiddink saying he has no idea how to turn his team around. I remember reading that the other day.

I'm also shocked that Del Bosque is still the Spain manager. In any other case his WC showing would have been sack worthy.

I feel like a lot of the Danilo acquisition had to do with blocking him from being Dani Alves' long term successor at Barca.

Either way, I'm really happy about it. Haven't seen him much, but I think he'll bring a dynamic and flair that's part of being a Merengue that Carvajal lacks.

Also, the thought of potentially having another Marcelo type on the opposite flank is :pimp: if he develops here.

Last day of torture at the hands of Coupé It Coupé It .

I like what I see in this Depay chap...
The future of Netherlands. Dutch hopes ride on his feet in 2018.

Levy is a dumb ***.
Levy is stubborn to a fault. We've seen that time and time again with the handling of Bale and Luka.

Haven't seen him much, but I think he'll bring a dynamic and flair that's part of being a Merengue that Carvajal lacks.
That's the best part. It's clear who didn't belong in the Blancos' starting XI.

He's not a Marcelo type tho, he's more of a Maicon type. Dani Alves would be another good comparison also. He is a Great crosser and has a powerful shot along with a great weak foot (which many fullbacks don't have). On defense he's more physical than Marcelo and Carvajal are. But don't expect to see Marcelo, I don't want you to have those ideas. You'll see soon enough.

Carvajal isn't going anywhere Keepie, Arbeloa is the one whose gone.

from The Guardian.... well done

I think Kane will be fine & continue to play well. With apologies to rck & firepower firepower though, I just don't see him staying with the Spurs.

Imagine this campaign with Memphis on the wing & Harry up front... :smh:

Look at the money Porto has made selling players since 2004. A staggering €600m in transfer fees.

Here's a related Tweet showing what Porto paid for players & how much they were then sold for.

These English clubs are stupid dumb for paying the prices they pay. They should invest in better scouting instead. English clubs are basically Veruca Salt incarnate... "Daddy, daddy, I want an oompa loompa... I want one now..."

Ribas and Guarin went on the cheap but we made that up the Anderson transfer, still makes me giggle to this day

Arsenal & Puma have partnered to provide a ball for left footed footballers.

 April Fool's

Watched a lil of that Italy v England before I deleted it off my dvr last night... If that's not an indictment on the need for Hodgson being fired, I don't know what is. Phil Jones looked absolutely lost in the defensive mid role & looked like he wanted to hug Carrick after getting subbed. How on earth did Hodgson think Jones would be suited for that role & then stay with him there as long as he did.

And speaking of bad old managers... How on earth did Del Bosque say Spain was dominant in the loss yesterday. :smh: I just don't know what game he was watching.

to be fair they played jack in a deeper role in england but he is OVERRATED
