For hardcore footy fans, this is a great read about "moneyball" being used to run Dannish club Midtjylland. This club currently sits in first place with an 11 pt lead in Superliga.

It's facilitating stuff. Former hedge fund manager & sports better Matthew Benham developed algorithms that made him a fortune with his hedge fund & sports betting. He used those algorithms when he bought English League 1 side Brentford & earned promotion to Championship. Brentford had been in the battle for promotion to the Prem.

He then invested in Midtjylland together with chairman Rasmus Ankersen. It's a good read.
