MLS needs to dedicate less money in starting more teams, and more in bringing better players to the U.S.

Quality over quantity. Not saying that we don't have good players to offer, but if the level of competition was higher, we'd be breeding better players.

Miami is a great location for a team though.

i just dont see why another dortmund player would accept a transfer to united, Shinji had a un deserved nightmare of a time, plus 30M for a player made of potato crisps is :rolleyes

Crazy day to be a united fan feels like deadline day. Ends with ddg considering leaving with lvg confirming he hasn't signed the contract

Jamie Carragher loves running his mouth ever since he retired . He called Gundogan a crock that can't get any burn at Dortmund fully ignoring his injuries...

LVG didn't really say anything new about DDG's situation. Right now his contract runs through 2016,that leaves the team plenty time to work out an extension if he wants to stay. What was interesting to me in what LVG disclosed is that he said with certainty that Giggs will succeed him...don't know how to feel about that just yet.

I dislike Carragher purely for what he said after we beat West Ham on MNF, "Leicester fans and players know they're down, so they're just enjoying it while they can"

:rolleyes

I guess he's paid to spew stupid stuff now as a pundit ,I always found him overrated as a player as well

They need to invest in more youth camps. A lot of talent and potential here in the states.

A lot of talent and potential that gets wasted

I agree with the first part but..

Miami tho??

The youth schools for each team is where is at.. You have to invest at different levels to build these kids. México does this very well

 The entire world does this famb, so by comparison it would be a stretch to say Mexico does it "very well." Germany does it very well, Spain does it very well, Brazil does it very well, Argentina does it very well, the Netherlands does it very well, etc. I would say Mexico does a decent job.

We need them academies stateside.

The influx of youth clubs being aligned with USSF is growing.

The next step for these youth clubs is to turn into resident academies, but I have no idea how they can make that jump without growth from out domestic league (MLS) tbh.

@ICE CITY FC @psk2310 pls chime in

Mourinho's response to Wenger saying 'It’s easy to defend.': “If it was easy you wouldn’t lose 3-1 at home to Monaco. If he defends well he draws 0-0 against Monaco and wins in Monte Carlo. It’s not easy to defend.” (theguardian.com)

Mou with the ether . I can't wait to see his interview if he beats Wenger once again . Dude must be getting absolutely sick of getting owned and is probably gonna have his boys playing with the fury of a Simeone coached squad.

I still think that Gundogan can turn it around when it comes to his health,he's still only 24.
