Project Ronaldo's replacement is finally over. Nail in that coffin, chapter closed. Now I gotta deal with Nani on Sporting, was hoping he'd vanish in Italy somewhere.

Has Nani contributed anything to Man United and Portugal in the past 4 years? I don't recall a single important goal (unless it was completely gifted to him), assist, run, etc . Not sure why any club that's not being relegated would want him, even if it's his former team.

Di Maria is currently the 12th highest paid player on the team. Considering that he was arguably the 2nd best player on that team last season and without him there probably would be no Decima, I think doubling his current salary is more than fair.

If this is correct, Marcelo is kinda getting shafted. Di maria should be paid more for the work and I don't understand why he isn't. Guess he isn't loved upstairs too, unlike Benzema.

The Nani to Sporting deal is interesting. Funny how things turn out, I recall him saying he was above their level of play a year or two ago when rumors linked him to them. I really dont see how United won in the transfer. Yeah you got a defender but you picked up another wage without getting rid of one.

Not really an important goal per se but it was beautiful and he did also set up Rooneys 100th goal the same game. Think it was Truth Serum that said he was underrated and that Gotze was trash

Speaking of Mandzukic, looks like Cholo has put him through the same school he put Diego Costa through of being an annoying pest on the pitch
Uuummmm no.

He's been a scumbag way before he arrived at Atletico

This. He is the prefect Costa replacement as he too loves to rile up the opposition. Ramos rivals Suarez as the biggest scumbag in world football though. God knows how many more sendings off he'd have if refs caught all the **** he does that goes unpunished. Totally punched Mandzukic today :smh:

Miranda being left out of the Brazil squad was one of the biggest jokes leading up to the WC..then that clown Luiz put in horror show after horror show making the decision to not call him up look even more stupid. He's was fantastic again today.

If Juan Fran didnt get injured late in the CL final, Atlietico hold on and do the double. No doubt in my mind. He is something else as a defender and showed it again today. Once he got hurt and Alderweireld came on everything fell apart....then Luis got hurt aswell and **** got out of hand.

Anyways he and Miranda were immense. Hope they help hold Real at bay in the return leg. :smokin

Arteta looks like he's gonna be out for a few weeks.
Gibbs is out for 2-3 weeks.
Sanogo, might be out for a week or so. If he isn't back by this weekend
:smh:

QPR wants Coquelin on loan
Barca want to loan Song. I for one don't want to see him back at Arsenal at all

 @ how upset we all are that a injury prone youngster who has never scored in a real game is due to miss a tough away trip to a good team due to injury (Shock!) since the current starting CF option is totally hopeless.

I'm becoming numb to displays like Giroud's today tbh. I think I've hit rock bottom, I'd honestly take Chamakh back at starting CF over Giroud. 100% serious. Hit up Palace throw them some peanuts and I'd have more confidence in us getting someone meaningful from the CF spot.

I may look back on this post in amazement but when you realize the 3rd placed Turkish side has a noticeably better CF than your club you get desperate. :smh:

We seem to lack physicality in the team. Other than Giroud we have no strong advanced players. Song could help with that. Not that its going to happen. Also think the team will settle in in 4-6 games.

WC 2014 US v Portugal. Who scored the first goal, got the ball in the middle of the pitch, picked out the correct pass to Ronaldo who got the assist that led to the equalizer.

Nano is still with united. This is a loan and it's what he needs to get his confidence back up again. Still better than Young and Valencia

Gonna go see MC vs LP with a buddy. I'm wearing my MU jersey, It's a LP bar

In some areas, you'll catch a serious fade for that....

Interestingly enough...

I just realized that Bebe and Nani will be in the Champions League this season . Bebe most interestingly, went from homeless to the Champions League. I hope he gets minutes and gets a goal. Even if it's only in the early stages, what a story that would be.

his best season was in 2010-11 when he scored 10 goals and made 14 assists as Utd won their 19th title...
Nani was also voted Utd's Player of The Year by his teammates...
he did alright in 2011-12 as well, with 8 goals and 10 assists...

but that's pretty much all that he got to show for in seven seasons with Utd... :smh:

Rojo sucks...

troll
how's Martins Indi doing? is he playing well?

So Rojo is officially official? What to expect from him?

tenacity,aggression...more importantly,he needs to grasp that LvG style of play quick...
Gabriel Heinze was quite the fan favourite,so I'm really hoping Rojo will be as good if not better than his fellow countryman...

needs true CB.. signs a LB..

I'm all for Di Maria, but how does that fix the problems we have/had last couple yrs.. need a CB, CMF (possibly two) and then someone like Di Maria.
Fellaini appears to be hurt :smh: even more of a reason to sign Vidal.. Lets say we cant sign World class players because of no CL.. why haven't we bought Vlaar, De Jong, Bling, etc.. FFS we can get Song on loan for free and yet NOTHING
