Manchester United target Cavani and Otamendi (Click to show)
Less than 24 hours after wrapping up deals for Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin, news emerges that Manchester United are prepared to continue splashing the cash this summer. According to a report in the Express, the 20-time English champions are preparing to dole out £75 million to land Edinson Cavani and Nicolas Otamendi.

Rumours linking Cavani with a move to Old Trafford have cooled in the past month, but with Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc declaring his interest in Angel Di Maria, speculation has heated up once more. The Express reports that PSG would be interested in a swap for the two South Americans, while United would prefer to keep the Argentine and stump up £50 million for the Uruguayan.
Meanwhile, the Mancunians are reportedly prepared to part with £25 million to get Valencia's star central defender Otamendi after missing out on primary targets Mats Hummels and Sergio Ramos.
Angel Di Maria could be a step closer to a massive move to PSG, with the Mirror reporting that the French champions are willing to match the Manchester United midfielder's £200,000-a-week contract and attempt to push through a £43 million transfer.

Valdes's Future (Click to show)
"It's exciting to see whether we play such a season again," he told Bild. "If we do then we have a chance of challenging Bayern -- even if they probably have the strongest team."
The Denmark international scored just once in 18 appearances and knows he has to improve, adding: "Personally I was very disappointed with my last season. The next one is very important. I'm giving everything to convince the coach [Dieter Hecking] that I should play every game and that he can rely on me."

More confusion over Victor Valdes' future courtesy of the man himself.
