Interesting fact about Athletic striker Inaki Williams is the first black player to score for the Basque club in it's 117 year history (3 months ago in the EL). The first black player for Athletic was Jonas Ramalho back in 2011.

Athletic only accepts players from the Basque region & has never been relegated from top flight Spanish football.

In the case of Williams, he was born in Bilbao to a Ghanaian father and a Liberian mother. He came up through the youth ranks of Pamplona and Bilbao...

Him being black, I knew that Bilbao only takes players from the Basque area. I couldn't remember the last time I saw a black player playing from there so I had to look him up.
Has a lot of talent, looking forward to seeing him play more
