Just came from the DCU game. Great comeback, resilience is thru the roof this year, I think our 3rd or 4th come from behind win this season. PSK, come out to a DCU game sometime, ticket on me. We can talk footy in person, I dare ya lol.

I play almost exclusively on turf now, as finding a good grass field is akin to finding a unicorn nowadays. I've grown accustomed to it and actually prefer it over grass at this point, as I don't think I've ever played on a quality grass field. Dirt patches on fields are the norm in the area I grew up in, so playing on turf is a major upgrade. Turf all day, plus you can still wear your cleats.

I can't even remember the last time I played on grass tbh :\

Same i haven't played on grass in 2 years. All i own right now are AG boots. I prefer grass over turf all day...but that is if the field is properly maintained which in MD is basically never. So i have come to not mind the turf. No such thing as long balls holding up the ball pings around and needs a great first touch. On days when it is windy the ball doesn't even stay still just rolls around on its own at times. But the complaint about the Woman's world cup i completely understand. There are cases of goalies getting cancer from the field due to the rubber pellets being made from old used tires and the tires have chemicals on them and they get into open wounds. ESPN did a special on it. When you play on turf every week you will have those knee scabs that never go away. Every week they get re-opened. Its brutal to slide/fall on

I like this move. Dude is erratic but also industrious as they say. Works hard and doesn't shy away from tackles. I think he would be a good addition. And he also fits the Real look

The SAC tournament here in Maryland my son played in during Memorial Day weekend had the best fields I've seen here in Maryland in a long time. On that Friday & Saturday, the team played on grass fields at University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC).

That Sunday, the team played at Centennial Park in Ellicott City which is in Howard County, one of the richest most upwardly mobile counties in the US.

This was by far the best soccer pitch I've ever seen. The grass was so well manicured. It was like rich carpet. The ball moved so well across the pitch.

Where's this misconception Pedro never plays come from? He made 35 appearances in La Liga this season. Started half of them.

Seems like a good gig to me. A career spent living in Barcelona, being a key role player on some of the greatest teams in the history of the sport, the opportunity to win more CL and La Liga trophies.

and its great barca are keeping pedro. very valuable player to barca. would like to see a good backup to suarez though...i think the team is better with messi on the wing
