Not implying that I think Barca didn't do anything when Real won, I literally have zero idea

But does anybody know if Barca congratulated Real last year

I actually feel gross and gossipy even asking and getting caught up in that

Roma has broken ground for their new stadium. From the architectural drawings, it looks like it's going to be a great structure. I wish American architects built more interesting arenas & stadiums here in the states.

- Jose Mourinho is on the verge of agreeing a new four-year Chelsea deal worth £30 million. The Portuguese coach, fresh from winning the Premier League, will commit to the west London club until 2019 and should sign in the coming weeks.

- Goalkeeper Petr Cech will meet with Chelsea officials today to discuss his desire to leave the club. Cech would like to join Arsenal, but the Premier League champions are reluctant to let him move there unless they receive a home-grown player as part of the deal.

- Manchester City is increasingly confident that it can land Raheem Sterling for less than Liverpool's £50 million valuation. The Reds had hoped a bidding war would push up the winger's price, but so far only City has made a move.

- Chelsea have become the latest club to enter the race for Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling, according to Sky sources. We understand the Premier League champions are monitoring the situation at Anfield but are not prepared to meet Liverpool's £50million valuation.

- Aston Villa is ready to table a £5.5 million offer for Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone. Tim Sherwood had wanted Jake Livermore, but the former Tottenham man's drug scandal has seen the Villa boss target another former Spur instead.

- Everton is poised to sign former loan star Gerard Deulofeu. The Barcelona attacker will complete a £3 million permanent move to Goodison Park, having sparkled there on loan in the 2013-14 season, but struggled with Sevilla last term.

- Radamel Falcao has agreed personal terms with Chelsea, but the Blues still need to agree a deal with Monaco. The Premier League champion only wants the Colombian on loan, but the French side will demand a fee after Man Utd backed out of a deal.

- Newcastle is on the verge of signing Wolfsburg striker Bas Dost for £9 million. The 26-year-old, who won the German Cup last season and scored 16 Bundesliga goals, is seen as the ideal forward for the Magpies and will sign a four-year deal.

- Louis van Gaal wants Felipe Anderson at Manchester United and is ready to bid £30 million to land the Lazio attacker. The Dutchman, keen to boost his firepower, has not been put off by the Brazilian's declaration that he is happy in Rome.

- Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri will not stand in Paul Pogba's way if the French midfielder decides to leave the Serie A champions this summer.

- Lille have been ordered to pay Genk £215,000 for the transfer of now Liverpool forward Divock Origi in 2010.

- AC Milan are interested in Atletico Madrid playmaker Arda Turan, reports AS.

- Rangers have appointed Mark Warburton as manager on three-year contract.

- Serie A runners-up Roma are ready to reignite their interest in Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko, according to the Daily Mirror.

- Valencia have completed the signing of on-loan Benfica striker Rodrigo Moreno, the club have confirmed.

I think the new Atlanta Stadium is still the coolest stadium being built. The new Vikings stadium is pretty cool as well.

You're right Retroballer Retroballer , the new falcons stadium will be nice. I saw pics of the proposed vikings stadium but not sure if it was finalized as wilf has very little of his own money to contribute & the state sure doesn't. I thought they were going with a cookie cutter stadium...

Wenger is now a hypebeast...

I love the design. Congratulations to Roma.

Speaking of stadium, Chelsea could leave Stamford Bridge for three years under redevelopment plans.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...or-three-years-under-redevelopment-plans.html

Chelsea could be forced to find a new home for up to three years if the club push ahead with plans to expand Stamford Bridge.

The Premier League champions will reveal their proposals at a consultation meeting to local residents and supporters at a Stamford Bridge exhibition running from June 30 to July 2.

Among the ideas under consideration is for Chelsea to dig down below street level to increase the capacity of the stadium from 41,798 to 60,000.

Owner Roman Abramovich last year commissioned a study of the area from Fulham Broadway to Stamford Bridge and beyond to examine the potential of upgrading the streetscape as well as the stadium.

Early predictions estimate that such a project could cost £500million and take up to three years to complete, which would mean Chelsea having to play in a temporary home.

Twickenham has previously been touted as a potential temporary home for the Premier League champions, while Wembley would be another option.

Chelsea previously considered building a new stadium at Earls Court, White City and Battersea Power Station, but are now focussing their energy on redeveloping Stamford Bridge.

A club statement read: “A year ago a study of the area from Fulham Broadway to Stamford Bridge and beyond was commissioned by Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abramovich to examine the potential of upgrading the streetscape.

“The study also began to assess the feasibility of an expansion of the stadium capacity within the existing historical site boundary, based on the principles of improving site access, benefiting the neighbourhood and enhancing the spectator experience.

“Mr Abramovich has appointed a professional team to assess, in more detail, the feasibility of expanding the existing stadium capacity at Stamford Bridge Grounds.

“The process now enters a further local consultation phase. This will include an explanation of the rationale for expansion, driven by spectator demand for more seats and the need to increase stadium revenue to remain competitive with our major rivals, this revenue being especially important under Financial Fair Play rules.

“Technical solutions for stadium capacity expansion are being investigated initially. This stage of the consultation will focus at present on discussing the rationale and technical solutions for expansion with residents and match-going spectators.

“Local stakeholders, neighbours, season ticket holders and club members will be invited to comment on the potential expansion. This feedback, which to date has assisted our progress in earlier stages, will continue to inform the next stage of the study.”

You know, I honestly don't think United woody is that good in business, although I think he has a decent team around him. How hard is it to line up business deals when you have the United brand? Companies are lined up to do business with a club like that. The crux of his acumen I think should lie in football matters which I think has been subpar. Transfer business hasn't really been good despite spending loads of cash...

For the record, I think the same of Barca too... It's jsut that whenever I see pics of woody, he really looks like a daft imbecile... You know that kid in school who thought he was cool & you just wanted to shove him into a locker or the trash can... It's that dumb smirky smile of his... :rolleyes

Woody's job has been made EXTREMELY DIFFICULT by the Moyes era. Yes United is a big brand, but just a few months ago, we weren't even sure if we'd see United back in the CL. Top players aren't trying to come to United to compete in EL. Then you have to take into consideration that very few top players are actually available right now. Doing business isn't as easy as many people think it is. Those that were available wanted to see about CL footy first, and what sort of team United was going to re-build.

If a player like Otamendi comes in, a CM may become more attracted to joining after seeing his addition as well as Memphis. It shows the direction of the club. But before the summer, top players would probably rather wait to see who else is coming through.

Then you have to think about so many players now that use United as a springboard to get new deals out of their clubs. So when a top player sees other big name players linked and then suddenly staying with their club, it doesn't exactly boost confidence in a player considering joining. Give him sometime...

Woody will get players in.

I think Barca needs to sell off all the rest of the players on loan & some of the B players too... I like what I've seen in Denis Suarez at Sevilla & I'd like to keep him but I just don't see where he'll fit. Sergi Roberto proly needs to be sold off too...

Barca's board didn't seem like it had any direction when it came to the B squad & La Masia within the last 3-4 years as evidenced in the fifa violations & the B squad getting relegated (while going through coaching changes)...

I hope whoever gets elected next can really provide direction in that respect.

Yup, their new kits have been leaked for a while. They look good. I liked Chelskie's home kit this season though... I liked the horizontal striping... On the whole, I think Adidas has done a decent job with Chelskie kits... A few misses here & there but overall good job...

Valencia are winning this transfer season.

I wouldn't sell Sergi Roberto. I think he is a good rotational player. I hope bartra stays too...I wonder why we haven't heard much rumors about him...maybe he is happy too. Montoya needs to go. Douglas needs to go. Is tello still a barca player?

Tello on loan to Porto so yes he's still a Barca player...

I love seeing stuff like this. Seems like a really deserving guy. Glad they also hooked up with the wifey. @ dude kissing Matthaus' hand though... Matthaus has really aged gracefully...
