^Gotta love Cantona period. I loved the Nike Joga Bonito commercials...

I love this recent quote from Pique -

"I'm not the best center-back in the world anymore. I was once, but last season and also in the World Cup, that was definitely not the case.

To play and win at Barça you have to be one of three best players in your position, and I haven't been lately. But I think Luis Enrique will help him get back to that. I know I can get back to being one of the best in the world and I'm working for it. I'm confident in it. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be here anymore

If he spent have as much time working on his craft as he did at the poker tables he'd be alright... I swear he & Jack Wilshere should open a gym together where you can go to do nothing... :rolleyes

Thats ridiculous, I mean Arsenal can give us all the money they want but what the hell do they need another midfielder for? I never ever understand what Arsenal does half the time in the transfermarket.

What exactly happened to Joel Cambpell is he coming in or not? Do they not want to use players they actually need?

Campbell is training with Arsenal in Austria this week. He just rejoined as he was on holiday after the WC, as most players were.

What's so hard to understand about bringing in Alexis, Ospina, Debuchy and Chambers? Don't let silly season confuse you fam...

I'm sure you know Quintero is a talent, and depth never hurt ANYONE, please refer to RM bringing in James to an ALREADY stacked midfield...

Cause you know damn well, by December a bunch of their midfielders will be in the surgeons office discussing recovery times.

Depth? Get some god damn depth at the number 9

Ya'll don't need more central midfielders.

Guess you missed Joel Campbell coming back off loan? That gives us THREE 9's....

Not to mention a youngin (Chuba Akpom) fighting to make the squad...

Keep the Arsenal Slander comin yaw....

Looks like Arsenal doesn't want to miss out on the next Colombian sensation, especially after the transfer fee Real gave for James. Looking forward to hearing English commentator say Ham-ez every Real game.

Lots of talk about Barca using a 3-2-3-2 formation. Man i can't wait to see Enrique is cooking up.

The media is reporting Enrique had the side practicing that formation.

How they could line-up...

InsideSpanishFootball said that Enrique went on to try other "tactical variants including a 3-4-3, a 4-2-3-1 and the new 3-2-3-2 shape."

It will definitely be interesting to see what he comes up with. I also hope to see him really push the team to play hard & with tenacity which is something they greatly lacked especially in the back half of the campaign. They really looked like they were going through the motions. No sense of urgency at all.

BTW Lucho, how's the baby doing? Well I hope.

I like that line-up. I think it will take a bit of time for the team to get used to it, but it could be very effective if they all start clicking together. The urgency was a big issue last season, and by the sound of it, Enrique will not have any of that.

He's doing good man. He found his voice so he's been chatting up a storm the last week or so. Also, he's teething, which is making for some restless nights here and there haha.

It's certainly an interesting formation. I wonder how the Cules in Barcelona will react? They had a hissy fit when Martino tried to change some things last campaign. Enrique does of course carry a little more favor with the Camp Nou faithful being an ex-player. We'll see how everything goes.

Pedro & Deulofeu have looked good so far. Halilovic has looked good too... Can't wait to see some more friendlies.

I used to love hearing my son jibber jabber at that age. Also loved when he started giggling & laughing. Enjoy every moment.

Do you consider keeping it real to be slander?

Since I don't want to "slander" anyone I'll just assume Arsenal is just super duper perfect then.

Argentina taking L's this summer, first the WC loss & today defaulting on its creditors for a second time causing the Dow to dip... Glad I'm not retiring anytime soon...
