So Chicago had a deal all worked out & then MLS decided a drawing needed to be done to determine where he would play?

I dont remember a drawing having to be done when Defoe, Bradley, Kaka, Villa, Lampard, Dempsey etc.....came over. Its ********. Chicago finally spends money and MLS screws us over. How can Chicago not have any big names??? We're ******* Chicago!!

They overpaid for him. point blank.

vidal + another cb would have helped much more.

Di Maria is worth that much.

Dude was the hardest working player for RM last season.

If dude isn't worth that much, then no other midfielder is...

They Overpaid because they've been overpaying for the past year now. That's the way it's going to be now for a while. Desperation.

Did Chelsea actually make money this transfer window? If so, wow. They became a better team and still made money - that doesn't happen much these days.

Just caught up on he Barca game.
I really am beyond impressed by what Rakitic has been able to do, I love watching him play.
Munir is going to be great, what a grew debut for the kid.
And Messi being Messi.
Really good way to start of La Liga

overpaid, not really. your not getting a world class attacking player for market value in today's football examples suarez and james. this is a desperate team looking for a buzz and a spark. The team is obviously afraid of Vidal's health and cost and there's not many class options at CB right now.

exactly, everyone saw what happen with him out on sat. atlectico ran all over their midfield. Photo explains it all.

di maria isnt changing that team into a top 4 squad by himself. that team needs much more help than angel by himself though.

I know you and the very few who don't want Di Maria to come - just wait, you'll see. He'll improve your team. There is still hope.

I haven't watched the United games tho, what have they been doing wrong?

the Van Gaal project might take a while as this team is still trying to get a grip on this whole new 3-5-2 system...

Gotta catch the United game later...I'm assuming the defense and midfield looked shaky on the ball, as usual?

Sunderland was always gonna get physical, and they played exactly that way yesterday...
in the first half, their midfield three of Rodwell,Larsson and Cattermole kept pressing each time Utd had possession and pretty much outmuscled the frail two pairing of Fletcher and Cleverley :smh:

although Utd's back three didn't lose shape so often than they did against Swansea, they kept getting forced back 'cos Sunderland was simply playing quick balls behind the defence...
as the centre midfield was a no-show in the first 45mins,the forward line was sometimes left isolated which forced Mata and Rooney to drop back a lot deeper than they should...
wish Herrera wasn't injured,he could've made a difference there...

although chances were still scarce, the 2nd half was better for Utd...
there was more possession and the likes of Rooney and Mata got a lot more of the ball...
i think the Spaniard was Utd's best player in that second half...

bold decision by LvG to replace RvP with Welbeck and Januzaj with Fletcher...
while there was pace going forward,Utd didn't really looked like scoring quite frankly...

only thing im worried about w united is that LVG only started using the 352 during the spain match in the wc and stuck with it since and before that he's always been a 433 guy.

Maybe united is built for the 433. they looked good in the summer playing in that states but those were just friendlys. Also you had ashley young looking world class lmao

yup,Van Gaal did say that Strootman's injury forced him to use switch to 3-5-2...

3-0 Sounders...disgusting

:smh: on the MLS/Jones situation. Possible back door deals going on?
Nothing new with back room deals. Crooked *** league.

Timbers/Porter need to figure out that Paparatto is trash and can't be trusted against talented attackers. Dude gives up the second someone blows by him. The entire team, save a few players, we're getting beat up on. Only thing Portland did well today was put in Adi.

Gotta get ready for Vancouver next weekend...

Leroux is my favorite female athlete by far

well sydney is top 5 but probably in number 3 position behind alex bae morgan at number 1 and at number 2

anyway, blind draw, what is that stuff man, the fire can never have anything nice im so mad he wasnt going to help much but it was going to be a big name addiction to draw fans i think, the fire need defenders and defenders bad

the commentator had a point that united has no player to play the world cup robben role where they steal the ball and just run 50+ yards at pace and tear up defense, i can only think in the 352 thats what he plays but like i said the roster doesnt fit any other formation better than 352 and its still a stretch

Watched some of the Barca gane , something stuck out to me. This team is well balanced between the left footed and right footed players. Aside from Salah, Chelsea don't have left-footed attackers.

So what you're saying is Chelsea are about to swoop in and steal Di Maria from United? :nerd:
