Was thinking that if Real keeps looking like trash like this Bale might have to play in the same position Di Maria did last season. James, Kroos, Modric, and Xabi are great passers and are great at keeping possession, but none of them have been showing the ability to take on a man and drive the ball forward the way Di Maria could out of the midfield.

Idk I know it's really early, the new players need time to gel, I'm probably overreacting, and in the end of the day there's a great manager that will figure it out in charge, but Real has looked like trash in the last 2 matches, and like they're missing their engine in the midfield in Di Maria.

I'm going to miss that about Di Maria. Pick up the ball in midfield and surge forward, making penetrating and dangerous runs. Forcing opposing defenses to think and make mistakes. Started picking out more quality balls in the final third instead of just shooting on his left the past campaign.

I don't know anything about him but I'll check youtube later. I think Bony and Martinez are also good options. Both would offer a good focal point.

I believe it was Kimchi Papi who mentioned that Barca is interested in Ben Yedder. I can see him fitting in nicely.

Since Bale is a former full-back, I think he needs to step up his game and start doing the little things on defense Di Maria used to do. He's got the speed and the motor to do so. i'll tell you right now not a chance in hell James does that, as much as I like him he's lazy as hell when it comes to tracking back.

Ray Hudson said yesterday fans cant have 2 major changes in key positions and assume they'll gel right away. No matter how good the players are. Chemistry is everything. Ive said for awhile now this team will look a totally different team by jan-feb.

I like the idea of bale being in di maria position though.

Seriously the dragon kit is hideous.  Adidas did RM dirty this year.  All pink, plane white with pink accents, and ed hardy collab.  Really regretting not pulling the trigger on the blue from last year

When I first saw the YY Madrid kit, I didn't like it but it's grown on me. If my wife hadn't banned me from getting our son any more footy shirts I'd get him a YY James or Isco shirt. The dragon & phoenix does make it look very mid-late 90s though but it would be cool for a kid to wear.

Yea they're finally gonna make their bid after Di maria signs,should be for £34m. Some reports have an unknown player being part of a deal,maybe chicha since Juve showed interest earlier in the tw. Apparently they're also looking at Fredy Guarin as a back up if Vidal doesn't sign and he could be had for cheaper at £12m

I'm actually feeling the CL Madrid kit,pretty clean imo.
