Gotta tip the hat to the Yellow Submarines today. Tremendous defensive effort led by Victor Ruiz. I think Pina's miss might've dented that back post.

Decent game from King Oompa Loompa who did an ok covering or Benjamin Button who kinda struggled on the other side. Rakitic continues to impress. Rafa didn't contribute much today but he looked composed. Look for a better effort next time.

Sandro's goal today & Munir's last week should serve notice to this hamstrung leadership at Camp Nou that the young talent on the B squad & below has to be nurtured further as well as being promoted.

This Douglas buy doesn't make sense. There have been numerous others bought from Brazil over recent years that screams of something being irregular to me.

Huge movie fan & forgot to post about Sir Richard Attenborough's passing in here. He was a life long Chelsea supporter & even served as a Director at the club from '69 to '82. He actually helped the club remain at Stamford Bridge years ago by holding onto his shares when others were being bought by property developers who wanted the club out of the area... He counted his honorary title as life vice-president as his greatest achievement (over his BAFTA & Oscar).

Far from a Real Madrid fan but y'all should give James some time to gel. I remember Bale was getting a ton of heat this early last season too.

James was a stud at Monaco but its harder to stand out every game in a team with 3-4 teammates just as good or better than you are. At Monaco and playing for Colombia the offense ran through him and that's when he delivered.

And yes RM over paid for him.

I've been reading about this Douglas transfer & how this sport marking agency Traffic netted 40% of the transfer fee of the new RB. This is the same company Barca has done business before acquiring players like enrique Adriano Buss & Keirrison de Souza back in '09 for a combined €24 mil (back in the Laporta regime). Neither player ever contributed anything.

Its funny because well before the transfer, Sao Paulo fans said Douglas was a clumsy defender prone to lapses in judgment & positioning so I'm not sure what Zubi & Co saw in this player... I just shake my head at Bartomeu & Zubi...

Kinda funny/ironic that Real's third kit features a dragon & the Barca badge so prominently displays the St. George's cross (Sant Jordi in Catalan). Dragon slayers...

That dude from Adidas did nothing special in my eyes when he designed the kit. It's the same home template in black but a weird dragon on it. I was expecting the actual kit design to be different. Turrible.

But let's not call Real Madrid dragons please, only one team should be the dragons. Porto should sue that dude who put that random goth dragon on the kit.
