Bit of an ignorant thing to say don't you think? Colombia, spelled with a o, is a big country with a spread of wealth. Based on pure numbers, Mexico should have a higher poverty rate than Colombia since it has a bigger population, but I could be wrong.

Bogota is like $10,000 gdp per capita compared to Mexico City's $47,000.  Mexico City is 8th richest metro area in the world.
