United may be overspending and making a bunch of impulse buys, but you know what - at least they're spending the money to try to turn things around. It's not like they have the most expensive seats in England, are signing new advertising contracts, are one of the most popular clubs in the world and just pocketing most of the cash like some other teams ...cough Arsenal cough

I dont recall a player the gunners just willed onto the team in recent years. Ozil was already halfway out the door and Alexis saw his exit already coming. Then Wenger wants to have the nerve to COLD offer Reus, Falcao, Carvalho, etc. and NOT want to overpay like the entire F*$(%^$)% world doesn't know Arsenal is sitting on a nice mound of cash.

I read that Sporting wanted 27.5m pounds for Carvalho and we bid 24.5. Don't know how true it is but sounds typical enough. :smh:

NT was ahead of the curve on RM's early, early struggles. Weak link at RB with Arbeloa and Carvajal despite an obscene wealth of attacking options. Kroos and Luka are not physically imposing or defensively responsible enough in the double pivot.
