Only reason that pass rate is at 90% is cause he's always passing sideways and backwards. I bet his forward passing is closer to 40%

LoL Real Madrid is a mess.
Ronaldo's comments were well/strategically said.

Regardless, the October classico should be good.

I am glad that Falcao didn't come to Bernabeu...

Real will be fine though. They had trouble at the beginning of the last campaign too that continued on here & there throughout but they won the CL...

Funny people are already trying to right off James. He will be fine & should flourish at Madrid. He'll be learning from the best & witnessing first hand what it takes to be a WC player.

I can see him being similar to Ozil in his early days at Madrid, just needs some time

I don't think it will take that much time. He kinda proved he can perform at a big stage. James will get stronger playing wise the more he plays at a club of this magnitude.

I'll be patient with James, only because I rushed to judgement on Luka and ended up with egg on my face.

First half of season he did. Then his form fell off the planet.
Pellegrini moved on from Negredo to Jovetic.

Really surprised real didn't land falcao.  I don't know what they are gonna do now.  Incredibly talented team but so many attacking mid field players i don't see how they all fit.  Hoping Khderia can help out as a holding/defensive mid now that Xabi is gone.

Raheem Sterling is a nightmare.  That dude is so insanely talented its crazy.  And if its possible i think Sturridge is under rated i love watching him play.  He has a great mix of skill and strength on the ball.  I loved that super Mario was back playing defense.  I really hope he flourishes at Liverpool.
I suppose RM could positively spin not landing Falcao into affirmation for Benzema's last La Liga and CL campaigns, as well as his scintillating finishing form for Les Bleus.

Khedira brings much needed physicality, toughness, and defensive responsibility. But fact is he can't pass, dissect, or shoot like Xabi Alonso did in his Bernabeu prime.

Sterling still has some growing up to do. A bit similar to Di Maria in the sense he makes dangerous, threatening runs but doesn't finish well or picks out the wrong ball in the final third. Raheem's decision-making should get better with experience under Buck's tutelage.

Spotted at 6-years-old.

I agree with you about Sterling for sure.  He missed an absolute sitter after slaloming (sp?) through the entire Spurs defense...then hitting a slow roller right to Lloris.  But he sure is exciting to watch.

What's scary is Sterling is 19.

His finishing and composure will come. But he's only 19. (Btw, just to make you all feel a little old, he was born in 1994 :x )

I hear it's a tear similar to the one Poldi had last season, if so he'll be out for months

Real aren't winning any major trophies this season. Yes it's early but I'm saying it right now.

Don't think it's so much people getting at James, it's more of the public and people getting at Real Madrid for letting Di Maria go. I don't think Fiorentino understands just how important he was to Madrid.

Great find by QPR. Even better discovery by Rafa. Bargain.

You guys think Lampard will ever get actual playing time at City?

Beginning to fear he's injury prone. A Kroos and Luka double pivot is not imposing or defensively stout enough to defeat opposing clubs with credible attacking prowess.

Mentioned the same sentiment earlier. Lacking a physical and defensively organized holding midfielder with Xabi Alonso gone and Khedira with yet another rock. Right side of defense getting torched regularly. Might as well flip Coentrao to RB on his weaker foot if Carvajal and Arbeloa are going to gift goals all campaign.

Di María: "I stayed at Real another season thanks to Cristiano"

Talking on AM 630 ESPN Radio, Ángel Di María has assured that he stayed on last season at Real Madrid because of his close friend, Cristiano Ronaldo. "The truth is that I have a great friendship with Cristiano Ronaldo; thanks to him I stayed on another season at Real."

Leaving Real Madrid: "I left the best way possible, after winning 'La Décima'. I'm very grateful to Manchester United for paying what Real were wanting. I didn't have to come out and set things straight. In the letter I wrote everything that I felt since that first day I set foot on the Bernabeú pitch."
The Premier League's most expensive signing ever: "I don't think that I'm the most costly in the Premier. Wearing the nº7 shirt is wonderful; the best players at United have worn that shirt, but I don't feel under pressure because of it."

The Premier League is different: "It's all more physical, with more force, than in Spain. It's a tough league, in which you have to run a lot. Van Gaal has told me to get used to it as soon as possible and to stay close to those further up the pitch."
United's start to the league: "We still haven't won yet, but we will try to turn things round."
