Didn't say it was.

My original post was short, and said to just keep the slander in the thread.

GUess that's too hard for some to wrap their minds around.

Man U not winning games is a fact.

Arsenal being cheap is OPINION.

No, it's a fact. Arsenal have the money to spend, but they choose not to. Stadium is done, lucrative kit deals, sponsorships, highest ticket prices in the country. They have the money, they're just being cheap (or would you prefer frugal?). That's a fact, not an opinion.

Thread title should be UNBIASED in my opinion...

And how was it true? Cuz we didn't buy Falcao?

Please reference my earlier post where i break down the difference b/w being cheap and being financially responsible.

Most Arsenal fans on this thread are soft...

No one is upset fam, just made a request and backed it up with logic.

Dudes confuse logical retort with "being upset". It's the internet.

That said, yaw win. Enjoy the completely incorrect/misconceived thread title.

Arsenal fans, you gonna let him refer to you like this?

oh you manage their books now? lol.

C'mon bruh, unless you have open access to their financials its OPINION.

Yaw are too used to teams that throw money at thier problems and have massive debts and FFP issues...

Arsenal has neither and in order to maintain that they have to be financially responsible.

Carvalho's 3rd party ownerships held up us buying our coveted DM, and there weren't really any SOLID CB's available this late in the window. I honestly wish we'd held on to Vermalean.

Although not the better striker, We made a more FINANCIALLY prudent decision in buying welbeck (although i'm not the biggest fan of this signing) and not Falcao.

He's only 23 and has tremendous upside. As much as I DREAMED of Falcao, he's 29, coming of MAJOR knee surgery and probably only has 2-3 good years left in him.

Doing a simple cost value analysis, I can see why the Club would've balked at his wages. Everyone is conveniently overlooking this.

But that said, please tell me in our cheapness, WHO we shouldve signed? Please keep in mind long term AW planning (not stopgap signings), Arsenal's TEAM wage structure, and AVAILABLE players at POSITIONS we needed (ST/DM/CB). Thanks.

Ohhhhhh his name is Leonardooooo
Leicesters number 23
And yessss he cost a ******* fortune
But he scores goals so that's alright with meee

Actually, Arsenals wages and financial information are published online...

Accounts for the year to 31 May 2013

Ownership: Arsenal Holdings PLC major shareholders are: Kroenke Sports Enterprises UK (registered in Delaware, owned by US resident Stan Kroenke) 62%. Red and White Securities Limited (registered in Jersey, owned by Russian resident Alisher Usmanov and Farhad Moshiri) 27%

Turnover: 2nd highest in league, £283m (up from £245m in 2012)

Gate and Matchday income: £93m

TV and Broadcasting: £86m

Retail: £18m

Commercial: £44m

Property Development: £38m

Player Trading: £2m

Wage bill: 4th highest, £154m (up from £143m)

Wages as proportion of turnover: 54%

Profit before tax: £7m (down from £37m)

Net debt: £93m

Interest payable: £14m

Highest paid director: Ivan Gazidis: £1.825m

Hence why numerous football analysts and reporters have all said Arsenal are financially robust enough to bring in big name players (Ozil, Alexis....) and will say stuff like this:

The state it's in: With their pricey seating at 60,000 capacity Emirates Stadium, commercial income up, and £38m still being made from property development, Arsenal's income was a massive £283m. Still Arsenal argue they struggle to compete against Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City, with a wage bill at a sensible 54% of turnover and a profit made every year. Owned by the mostly absentee American Stan Kroenke, Arsenal abide by the "self-sustaining model", meaning shareholders made millions selling up, but are not expected to put any of their gains into the club.

Here's a fact for you, Arsenal are finishing 4th at best. Before any claims that I'm biased, Utd will also finish 4th at best

Eidy,

I appreciate the find, and can admit the club makes solid figures and is profitable. Please dont forget, it IS a business after all. And in order to stay that way it MUST maintain its profitablity.

Hence their wage structure. YOU honestly think we're gonna bring in a player and pay him twice what our two other marquis signings make? We're SLOWLY transitioning into being a money player, we aren't gonna break the bank at the first chance we get.

That said, please school me on who yaw would've signed?

Remy: 80k a week, prem experience, French, 27.

In these situations, you look for a stop-gap signing until someone pops up on the market.

I would think Remy would flourish more than Welbeck at Arsenal.

Yet you put None of those other teams on blast in the THREAD TITLE though ::kat williams i'll wait x Lil Duval Blank Stare face::

And if you think Arsenal would have EVER signed Falcao, you're pretty naive...

There's a difference between being CHEAP, and being able to afford a player and keeping a wage structure.

Arsenal could easily afford Falcao's LOAN price... What they couldn't afford was his WAGE demands, something you and many on here conveniently forget...

His weekly wages would have been higher than our 2 highest earners (Ozil and Alexis) COMBINED. Wage structure and policy that Arsenal stick to.

If you actually KNOW Arsenal, you'd know that they aren't being cheap, they're actually being financially responsible. We dont just throw money at the problem all the time like other teams do.

And this is coming from a COLOMBIAN, that would've LOVED to see Falcao join my Gunners.

So again, I'll stand by my post. Either knock everybody in the title, or leave it in the thread.

Your post history dogging Arsenal says plenty about your  "salt/hate/bias" (whatever you want to call it).

FYI, I got reps cuz the TRUTH HURTS. Most Arsenal fans on here dont have the HUEVOS to stand up for their team. I AINT that dude.

It be like that sometimes.

:wow:
