That's solid enough with Blind in front of them (with a very restricted role).
Sure, it's not the greatest defence in the world, it doesn't have Subotic's or Benetia's but it's decent enough to get into top 4 (see Liverpool) and that's all United are really looking for right now.

exactly, we don't need a championship level defense we just need a healthy, solid defense to get to top 4. There's so many options available in the summer for us like Vlaar and De Jong for cheap that we don't need to spend big money in January. We are going to need it, because CR7 is coming home next summer. Woodward already making inquires. 200 million pounds though
going to be interesting who plays saturday and what formation. We only have 1 healthy cb and he hasn''t played there yet

My son would proly be way more physical than the United defense (JK of course)...
Kid wearing black in the grainy iPhone pic below was head & shoulders taller than my son & tried to body him. Homey got a stiff shoulder into his side & a good stiff one arm push to the ground.

Last year, homey in the blue kept thinking he could get around my boy... This was all game... Poor #21 got so frustrated he ended up getting a yellow card towards the end for shoving my son from the back to the ground...

Davo from Men In Blazers compared the Heggsy FC win over United to the Ewoks beating the Empire in Return Of The Jedi... He went onto say that it proved to Tampa Bay Bucs & United fans that yes, it could indeed get worse... I love these guys...

How come Podolski gets so little PT?

He doesn't offer much when placed on the wing plus he lacks the physicality and pace to play upfront on his own. He is probably the best finisher in the team but other players contribute more to the team that's why he finds himself constantly on the bench.
He'll probably be sold next year.
