The ESPN feed on SD & HD went out.. Got ESPN Deportes though... Missed the 2nd goal by Slovakia... SMH...

I hate to say it, but it looks like these old heads could care less & I'm including my beloved Barca players. I've only been able to watch from the 60 min mark & on while working, but I don't think I've seen on triangle that makes tiki taka so successful. The Spanish players looked like they ate some personal pizzas & a bowl of pasta before the game... :smh: The lethargy is just sad to see... :smh:

Yo Chenny... You Nigerian?

Lmao... and nah Jamaican bro

Spain is just such a joke now. It's not like all their players retired and a new generation is coming in and is learning.

These are all qualified and matured world class players. So many issues.

eiddy, you're a fan of La Roja... What are your thoughts about the state of the Spanish side?

Absolutely ridiculous.

I'll be honest, I had to google to check that Vinny Del Bosso was still around. I would have sacked him after the World Cup. Not cause he didn't win anything, but cause he made ridiculous decisions. His team selections just had me shaking my head, as he clearly thought it was still 2010. With the amount of talent and balance between experienced youth and aged experience, there's no reason Spain shouldn't have went deep into the last WC. Too many players are chosen on their name/history instead of current form.

I'm genuinely wondering how long they will let this continue for...

For as long as Del Bosque is around, he'll continue with his bull. I'm surprised he didn't get fired either, he needed to resign and let a new generation and style of play come in.

Casillas . How much longer can Carlo and del Bosque continue to justify starting him when they both have younger, more able bodied and in form keepers on the bench? It's looking like they're gonna stick with their stubbornness and it's gonna be this way until he finally costs them a big game which he's already come close to doing

83% percent of MARCA.com readers (most popular Madrid based Spanish paper/website) want De Gea to take Casillas spot.

People have spoken Del Bosque.

I want to see this poll for Real Madrid, see what people say as well. I have to give Madridistas credit here, if you don't perform out there to a certain standard you will get whistles/booed. Doesn't matter who you are. Ronaldo was whistled a couple times last season. They're the harshest fans but they expect nothing but excellence. I think they are closest to being the "New York Fans" of Europe.

VdB isn't going anywhere until the Euros in 2016. I hope he mixes it up and gets La Roja back to decent form.

in other news, fernando santos was hired a few weeks ago to replace bento and im sure loving his call ups.  we will have to see what formation he decides to play but a few of the older guys has been called back up.  TIAGO, DANNY, QUERESMA, and R. CARVALHO!!  no more meirles, veloso, joao pereria, hugo, or postiga.  right mixture of young guys with the veterans.  something bento clearly did not feel the need to do.  excited to see how this team plays tomorrow vs france and next week against denmark.

Thought tiago retired?

Wow, we could have really used him this summer if that's the case.
