Help me out guise. Going out there in a week or so for a day.

Put me onto spots not named Pats or Geno's that are good and worth checking out.

Yes I know there's a regional section, but ill get more responses in general in an hour then I would in a week in the regional section.

JIMS on southstreet is good, and tony lukes has one of the bigger cheesesteaks and is also good... this place i never tried but keep hearing its good is Ishkabibble's ... ill try it next time im in philly

Ima try that ishkabibble's spot. Ima have an all day septa pass so I'm willing to move around to get it.

Ima go to a phillies game in the afternoon, Mitchell and ness store after that then grub up there.

I had tony lukes in the Philly airport when waiting to catch a layover flight. Pretty good actually to me at least, but the cheesesteak spots in Cali are mediocre at best.

Good lookin out on the responses guys.

or Jims if you are going up South St.. get a gremlin from Ishkabibbles (Grape soda + Lemonade )

STAY AWAY FROM GENOS AND PATS ITS A TOURIST ATTRACTION WHICH IS GARBAGE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

feel free to shoot a PM if ya got any questions

Xfinity Live is awesome, also if yo goto the phillies game make sure you grab some Crab Fries from Chickie and Petes

Every time im in NYC i go to Philly for the M&N store and cheesesteaks :smokin

That's exactly what I'm doing. I'm going to NY for a few weeks to see family. Found a round trip megabus ticket for a day to Philly for dirt cheap. I had a good time when I went to Philly last year.

Had pats and genos. Genos was decent but kinda underwhelmed with pats

Tony Luke's made me get the sweats/park my car in the middle of the street so I could run into the house to use the bathroom.

If you're in to food, hit up Reading Terminal Market. One of my favorite spots in Philly.

Great choices to pick from

I'm about to check that market out.

Ima do my research later today in terms of how to get there but how far is that reading terminal market from citizens bank park?

Take broad st line from Citizens Bank park about 10-15min train ride to City Hall, Get off at City hall and the walk from City Hall is about a good 5-10min walk to Reading Terminal.

Son Reading Terminal Market is so close to Drexel University, I should have when when I toured the campus. I should take a day trip to Philly to eat some cheesesteaks.

Also, the M&N flagship store is a short walk from Reading Terminal. 2-3 blocks or so.

Thanks for the directions :pimp:

My body is ready for them cheesesteaks.

Go to Phillip's Steaks near 22nd and Passyunk in South Philly. Thank me later.
naw they got a new cook and ever since the meat is too Fatty unless that is how you like your cheese steak.

They do have the best mozzarella sticks doe

I've had Jims on South Street, and honestly thought Pats was better. Ishkabibble is where it's at. I've also heard a lot of really good things about Max's which is in North Philly, so it's pretty ghetto, but nobody seems to have issues.

Also, living in Jersey, I think Philly cheesesteaks are grossly overrated. We have the same or even better here....the only thing is no cheese whiz around here.

On another note, I just moved outside of Philly. Anyone want to go to a titty bar?
