NT MLB Redraft Thread: May standings posted!

Not sure if this was covered, but can I get a quick clarification on the designated hitter? For any video game simulations, are we going with the rule as it is, or as it should be (universal)?

Just curious, since designated hitter is an assigned "position" on the page-one rosters. I don't want to take someone that would exclusively be my designated hitter because he is a hopeless defender, and then get assigned a National League team if it is going to matter.

I can't remember where I posted it (not in the OP or the next two posts) but we're doing it the right way, DH all around. As long as you have the minimum requirements, you can DH whomever you would like!

I said this in the OP but just wanted to reiterate that outside of the required closer, you can have 11 starters and have 6 of them be relievers. Build it however your heart desires your perfect team to look

As we get closer to finishing up (maybe with everyone's last pick) I'm gonna ask each GM to send me a PM (or post it up in here whichever) of how you want your lineups to look, how you want your defense aligned, how you want your rotation set up and how you want your bullpen set up. So start to kinda get that together in your head as well for now. When it comes to the bullpen, The Show has a spot for two set up men so you can designate who you want in the 7th and 8th innings.

I had a light draft roster set up and I penciled Vargas in as my long relief man :smh: I didn't think he would get picked until like the 9th

I love Vargas. I could have waited, but I wanted another productive lefty in my rotation before the SP's thinned out considerably.
