Anyone know how to bypass finishline's need of American billing address and credit card?

I am trying to buy a couple of things from finishline and it won't let me because my CC is Canadian. I tried buying e-gift cards but they got rejected because of my Canadian CC. Is there any other way to get this done? Anyone with experience?

Just use an American billing address + Canadian credit card and your order will go through.

How though? I live in Canada. I have an American shipping address, I guess I can put that. But doesn't the credit  card info have to match the billing address? Have you done it before?

It may work sometimes but it won't work all the time. Your order will get bounced on limited release day stuff. It may slip through the cracks though on things that are sitting. It states on their website they don't take international credit cards so that's true for the most part

Yeah my CC is Canadian, so it won't even process my purchase. I tried buying e-gift cards because they had space for Canadian billing information but every time I do get it, an email comes that says they are unable to complete the transaction. I can only guess it's because of the card but why would they put billing info for Canada to buy the ecards if they don't accept international cards. Made no sense to me.

I recently contacted FNL customer service and they said that they updated their computers recently and part of the update is that they can detect Canadian IP addresses and that is where the issue lies. I too have a US address and also a US issued credit card, but i cannot order. Weird because i was able to order in the past. Not sure how Weather is getting his order through. You can always call in your order via phone, but its useless if something hot restocks

Oh word?? Damn how did you get a US CC? Are you an American living in Canada? If the IP address is your only problem you can get one of the many programs that changes IP addresses to US.

All of this seems like a massive pain to order some shoes that are probably sitting on other sites that will take a Canadian credit card. I would like to build up WC rewards online though. Oh well

I had them call me after I ordered Champagne 6's. They didn't care at all. US addy and Canadian CC works 100% for Eastbay, FNL, Footlocker and NDC

Just because one rep didn't care on the phone doesn't mean that FNL in general doesn't care.. It all depends on who picks up the phone

Not just one rep, you can order from finishline with a Canadian CC. I do it all the time.

If they have changed this since 2 weeks ago order from all the other big sites that allow it.

How do you do it? When I enter a canadian CC it asks for the billing address. Should I put it as the same as my American shipping address because the billing address of the CC is a Canadian address and there is no option to select a Canadian address. And to your questions about why use FNL, it's because some things believe it or not are sold at FNL and not at other big retailers and FNL often has good deals and also because of WC.

what i did was i filled with friend's address over states with my canadian credit card that it works all the time.

I tried to order some Chukkas off of FNL and they cancelled my order because I paid with a Canadian credit card. Take it for what it's worth. I talked to rep on chat and she told me the same thing.

This is from their customer care page:

Unfortunately, brownie points, monopoly money, and good deeds are not yet recognized as a valid form of payment. Fortunately, Finish Line currently accepts debit cards, all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover card), PayPal, Bill Me Later, and Finish Line gift cards as forms of online payment. At this time we do not accept international credit cards as a form of payment.

i'm in same boat as the original poster.

so, you say you put a canadian CC?

the main issue is they don't let you select your CANADIAN PROVINCE.

nike.com now lets you

eastbay footlocker as always allowed it.

i looked a couple days ago and FNL still has no way of processing a caandian credit card online. yes i use an american address and a us td visa card, but my billing address i can't put my damn province.

if you have done it, please let us know how. or if you intentially put a random state, and had to call in afterwards to ask them to change it to province manually then let us know.

please don't respond "i've done it" without proper instructions.

thanks for assistance! i think why we want to buy off FNL and not candian site is their prices are dope and the have frequent restocks!

For real man. I was staring at a silent restock of a bunch of jays a couple of weeks ago and could add to cart but couldn't do anything with it!

call your bank and tell them to add a secondary billing address on your CC. Thats what I did with mine and it works.

My bank is RBC. You can create an account at reship.com and they will give you a US address of your own. This is how it work:

Order from finishline(free from tax since reship is from portland) -> Ships it to your US address with reship(5$ charge for their service) -> Reship ship's it to you here in CANADA using your shipping company of choice.

for items that are limited to one per customer, wouldn't that be a problem if they see more than one person using the same address (i.e. reship's)?

They will give you your own personal address. Like If we are both registered reship users, our suite numbers will be different.

Heres an example of reship address:

13820 NE Airport Way

Suite #123456

Portland, OR 97230
