Sounds good. Which 3(Rose 5, J Wall, Lillard), fitment-wise would you say is closest to?

Doesn't look like I'll get the pre-order in by the 15th and I want to get the white pair before this 15% code expires.
 
Was a big fan of the Crazylight 2 and my pair has worn out finally after 2 years. It was a cheaper option than the hyperdunks/fuses and made me a huge Adidas fan. Interested in the new boosts, but the primeknit upper worries me, giving the foot ability to stretch the shoe. Also I swear to never play in lows for fear of turning ankles so I might try the mids when they come out, although I dislike the ankle having a different colorway.

Will try the lows at least in stores though, they look too fresh.
 
TPG - I would say Rose 5. Some dead space in the toe box that is cancelled with a thicker insole (rose 1 and 2 worked for me). Length wise I could have went .5 down to a 10.
 
I don't think rolling your ankle depends on if a shoe is Low or mid. If it's gonna happen it will happen. Regardless. Wouldn't be worried
 
I've seen that multiple reviewers have said that these have some dead space in the forefoot, but if you put one of the insoles of older D Rose models it will help filling that dead space and also improving the forefoot cushioning.

My question is, if I put some Micro G insoles in these, will they have the same result as the PU insoles from older D Rose models? I haven't bought any Adidas shoes in a while so I can't do what these reviewers have done

For 1, I know this is highly debated, but I'm a firm believer that the height of the shoe will not cause or prevent a turned ankle.

Also -- the mid version of this shoe (I have a pair) has that techfit strap/sleeve, which does not add any support, it more just gives you a nice one to one fit.  It's not like an ankle brace or anything.  I like how it fits for sure, but it won't save you anymore than the low pair.

As far as the primeknit, there are some overlays where you need them for support, so you should be good.  I can definitely see how playing in knit worries you -- that's exactly how I felt when I first laced up the XX9 (i guess that's woven) -- I thought, "no way is this going to work" but it did
 
Good news for Canadians. The shoe is supposed to come out on Adidas.ca next month. No date specified but August...
 
Adidas shipped the pre-order via 2-day so I didn't have to wait few more days. I went tts and it works for me because the toe box is narrow. I put in insoles from the Ultra Boost and it's a better fit with the dead space up front. The heel lockdown is good too. The denim material around the ankle collar of the USA colorway .

Didn't buy last years CLB so I can't compare the two but these feels great. Slightly better than the Lillards cushioning wise on the forefoot.

Only negative I would say is the durability of the outsole as the treads are really thin, so not great for outdoor use.

This shoe is a good choice for the price range. It's a great median between the Rose sig and Lillard/Walls.
 
Is it just the gr colours coming to Canada or will the wiggins be released too next month?
 
Here's a look at the USA so you can see if you want to grab this colorway. If you wear no show socks, it's another reason to grab them as there is no discomfort in any range of motion. However, I don't know if it's on my pair only but the heel Boost on the right shoe is raised higher than the left you can see the indentation(picture attached) of the Boost pad. I can feel the unevenness on the heel. Maybe it has to break in? duke40 duke40 iks mod iks mod Do you guys feel it on your pair?

Not that drastic but there is a definite "feel" of heel to toe transition. Heel is way soft and cushioned but right around where you show it has a different flow. I like the way they play so far - even kept the stock insoles.
 
@thapointguy  the USA pair is looking great.  I need to check my pair to see if there's any difference from L to R shoes with the heel boost.  I'll let you know.

Traction is solid indoors but agreed that it could burn out rather quickly.  Probably not best to take these outdoors for too long

That Rubio PE must be an early sample?
 
@thapointguy  the heel boost on my pair is raised very slightly on both shoes but there isn't any noticeable variation.  That sucks that one of yours sits a little higher... suppose you could do a swap through adidas for a new pair?
 
I returned it yesterday. Hopefully the new pair doesn't have that problem. Not sure if it's raised for a purpose or the way it's just put together. I like the inside of a shoe to be seamless as possible.

I wanna say it's not necessarily on purpose but more-so just how things fit together when it's all assembled.  No clue though I guess.  the boost doesn't seem to be sitting up way too much on my pair.  I've yet to play in these other than walk around a bit.  Been playing in the super.fly 4

So I tried them on in-store today and was pleasantly surprised. Even though it is a knit material, the shoe structure is really firm and holds against bending, twisting, and slight traction. Of course, this is only tested on store floors so can't really judge it until wearing them on-court. Pretty aesthetic shoe and looks nice for casual wear even though I'd never wear it out on the street. Love the width of the shoe too since I have somewhat wide feet and TTS 11.5 for me fit perfect.
 
Just received two pairs today, one in 11.5, the other in a 12.

Question to the guys who have played in them a little more:

Does the Primeknit expand a little at some point?

I have wide feet and the toes are a little bit tight in the toe box, pressed a little against the side.

Length wise the 11.5 feels perfect, just a little tight.
