ADIDAS BBall Boost Thread - BYW, Crazy Explosive & Crazy Light & OTHER BBALL ADJACENT SNEAKERS

Well, I could understand if the shoe just fits poorly.  That's just bad luck.  I believe you guys when you say that, but I have no reservations about playing in them.

Getting the correct size on the other hand, was easy for me.  Once I heard they fit like the Lillard 2, just got the same size and they're perfect.  As a matter of fact, I got the same size in the Lillard 1, Lillard 2, Rose 6 and these.

The Boost 16 is a shoe to me that has to gel with your forefoot from the start since the lacing doesn't really change much in that area.  It's either going to work or it won't, unless you want to try and stretch the jacquard out.

Just a reference mate, did you get half a size down from your size in other brands on the Lillard 2s? I think my foot is really between a size 10 and 10.5 on other brands besides current Adidas shoes (I do have kind of wide feet too)

For reference, i got the same size in CLB2015, Lillard 2, CLB2016 which is all a size 10.

For ultraboosts, i wear a 10.5.

For most all nikes (kobe's, flyknits etc.) i wear a 10.5.

Hope that helps.

I haven't worn my 2016s to an actual game, just shooting around and what not, coz i'm still recovering from a broken hand...but to me, the fit and feel is a lot like the Lillard 2s, which i really liked.

Just sharing my experience on the clb16..

I tried them the other day and they fit like lillard 2 pk (both US10)

I also managed to try US10.5 and just like the rest of adidas shoes they run way too long

for references, I'm wearing

kobes 4,5,6,7,8,10 US10.5

racer US10

ub US10

yzy 350s US10

hope this helps

Brothers so my CLB16 that I bought from Eastbay arrived after going to Germany first then to Dubai, took them 12 days :frown:

and I'm so sad about my pair because it's very long and I got around 1.25 inch of dead space on the Toe which surely give me some Heel Slip

Tried it in the office and I got heel slip right away.

I got 9US for the CLB16

I wore 10US on J1, Soldier, Lebron, Kobe

I wore 9.5US on J Retros

So im 9.5US TTS but wide footed

Now Im selling it and hoping someone will buy it here in Dubai, problem is returning is difficult living overseas.

I think CLB16 is not for me

I'll wait for the review of Explosive and Rose 7 instead
my disappointing FIT issues with the CLB16, For Share

Be warned! Do not buy unless you fit it first. Unfortunately this are not available as of Today August 9 here in Dubai UAE.

Sorry to here Fam. I spent some time there last year and it seems really hard to get Bball stuff in the UAE. Especially if it isn't Nike. Running and soccer..... No problem but you're in trouble if you need anything else.

Dubai have come a long way, Nike and Jordan Brand are on point, we have the latest Basketball Shoes but not the super rare colorway and retro super rare J's

But for adidas you find running and soccer shoes updated

but at least for the first time we have the CE Red PK,

super duper like the comfort

Yes, I did.

Majority of Nike basketball/runners:  size 10

Adidas basketball (at least recently):  size 9.5

Under Armour CF Drive, Drive 2, Curry 2:  10

Brand Black JC2:  9.5

To also throw in another 2 cents on the sizing.

To me, my adidas true size is 10, it's 10.5 for nikes.

Crazy Explosive - 10

NMD - 10 (could squeeze tight into 9.5)

PK NMD - 9.5

Ultra Boost - 10.5

Ultra Boost Uncaged - 10

Lebrons - 10.5 / 11

Jordans - 10.5, 10 for some bigger ones

Most nike bball / running = 10.5

I have NO IDEA how you guys are not sizing these correctly. I got my normal 10.5 and everything is good. Same with the Rose 7 and the HD16. Had to half size up on the KD9 but it is really narrow in the ankle.
That narrow ankle of the KD 9 killed me recently. Landed on someone's ankle and effed up my ankle really bad. Because it was so tight, the higher portion of my ankle was close to 90 degrees. I tore ligaments and chipped a bone in my ankle... I still have an unworn pair I'm selling. And I'm turning my in game pair to causal wear... Crazy Explosives are going to be my go-to shoe now.

Few days ago, someone posted a link for some Lamarcus Aldridge PEs that ended up at a goodwill (never knew there was a ShopGoodwill.com site to get items auction style for their items.)

i started browsing and listed under Tennis Shoes were these babies........$23 dollars shipped. Marked as New, some dirt on bottom from trying on and some scuffs in front tow box that look like they were already there when originally purchased. very happy with them.

Are most people getting heel slip with the CLB 2016 or just some? And how much does it bother you? Is it as bad as the lillard 1 or CL Boost 2015? I found the lillard 1 unplayable after I broke them in but the CLB boost 2015 was still very playable.

i really didnt experience it... i felt it way more in the Lil 1s( which eventually went away for me)

I like these for casual wear. I guess it depends on the look that you are going for but i love the high top bball look so i am loving these! They are definitely supportive and firm enough for a ball shoe, and super comfy walking around. I went TTS and it's a snug fit, but in a good way.

No performance review for a while. Gonna wear these out casual until some of my other ball shoes really wear down.
These are actually looking great for casual wear IMO. Also they are way uglier in hand. Dunno which part went wrong and why they look way better on feet.

thanks for the replies. I copped the red pair from the ebay seller for $85. Thats probably how much they'll go for when FTL discounts them so ill pick up a pair early.

I was tempted to return my used Adidas.com pair and get a pair from that guy, but eh...

I'm thinking the Boost 16's will sit and hit some hard to resist prices later on.  Still FSR's wherever I look.  Helps to have the Rose 7 and CE's as other full length Boost models.  Definitely scooping up one of them down the road.

If anyone out there hasn't tried Boost or a Boost bball shoe, I would strongly recommend giving one of these three shoes a try.
