ADIDAS BBall Boost Thread - BYW, Crazy Explosive & Crazy Light & OTHER BBALL ADJACENT SNEAKERS

Yo, these 2015 CL Boosts are stupid comfy. My current favorite shoe to hoop in without a doubt. Bring on the Wiggins Away PE and the Mids.
 
I usually wear Nike Basketball shoes (Kobe's and KD's) and the Wiggins Home PE is the first pair of Adidas Basketball shoes (own Superstars and ZX FLux) I've gotten. I like them a lot, but the cushioning feels pretty hard compared to Kobe's. I've seen a lot of people say to do an insole swap, any suggestions for what kind of insoles to get? I've been looking at Ortholite's and Sof Sole's.

Ortholite's standard insole is a solid mid-level option and will add a little cushion versus the stock Adidas paper-thin one.  I do recommend those, but if you're looking for a little more support/cushion, there are other brands that might be better

I've had good luck with Spenco insoles https://www.spenco.com/category.aspx?catid=2 -- also, I've heard good things about superfeet http://www.superfeet.com/en-us/insoles-and-sandals and SOLE brand insoles too https://secure.yoursole.com/us/mens/footbeds

One other brand I've been curious about is Sorbothane, they've got some crazy stuff and their cushioned insoles seem to get pretty good reviews.

Hopefully this helps.  I would say as long as you get something that's as thick as an ortholite, you're gonna improve the forefoot shock absorption by a decent amount.

Thanks for the info! I'll check them out. Cool that you're local too. Saw the Away Wiggins colorway today and man I'm going to have to cop those too.
 
Yeah the pair previous posted had Rubio on it but looks like AW is on the tongue in this pair. Aside from the silver strip running along the midfoot they look better than the Away Wiggins PE. The 3 strips under the overlay on the forefoot is a nice touch. The silver heel is awesome too. Would like to see other colors in this make-up.
 
you may like these - definite wide footer shoe. Just watch that forefoot cushioning.

Duke, I saw your review in youtube when it was released for this and I feel it in the store for that uncomfortable forefoot.

But I always want to have pro model back then and now this is the closest model with new tech available, plus it's on sale

FYI:  just saw a few Crazy Lite Boost "Zebra" in the Marshalls in N. Quincy MA $39.99  sizes 9.5, 10, 11

... at least around here, when they hit one store they start showing up in others
