ADIDAS BBall Boost Thread - BYW, Crazy Explosive & Crazy Light & OTHER BBALL ADJACENT SNEAKERS

I never hooped in any adidas shoes. Thinking about trying the Roses. Just to clarify, I can pick em up off adc and hoop in them, and if I don't like em I can send em back (just like nikes return policy)?

The Roses feel pretty bulky and heavy and restrictive in the collar. If you don't mind that (especially restrictive high tops) then they're really nice. I feel like they're one of the best big man shoes ever.

Exactly. Roses are really good but if you're used to lows they may feel like too much shoe.

I have the clb 16, CE's and Rose 7. All have amazing boost cushioning and good to great traction (CE traction is very good the other two are great). So it comes down to fit and imo that's where the Crazy Explosive separates itself. It's a mid that feels like a low. It also feels the lightest of the three which counts for something bc none of them are light sneakers.

Cool... I prefer mids over lows... I'm finally open to trying the CEs too just because of the overwhelming glowing reviews, cuz them things are hideous IMO. It seems like it'd be hard to get great lock down with that lacing set up, with so few lace loops. Lockdown is probably my most important thing I'm looking for, with traction and cushioning right behind. I'll see if I can find something in stores to try on

Lockdown is really good for me in these. After resisting for a long time, I can see why there's so much hype with these. In terms of function I honestly wouldn't change a single thing. Maaaybe they could be a touch lighter but I don't even notice the weight on foot.

been saying it for a while now, I even tell every salesperson that would listen, people wants to buy Adidas bball shoes but no store carry them outside of the Hardens and sometimes Dames

Yeah Hardens were everywhere. I went to the hood mall that has every sneaker store and usually has everything that's out. The adidas store was a phone call in a different mall

Rose 7s - go .5 down from Nike size? Also are any other CE color ways coming or it's a wrap? There's 1 pair avail in my size on ADC (assuming my sz is .5 down) but they're too ugly, one of the Wiggins joints

Welp have ventured to the dark side... ordered 2 rose 7s and a crazy explosive. I got the roses in my TTS 13 based on what reviews I saw said. I wanted to try the CEs in my TTS but all ADC had was 12.5. I don't really like the colorway but if I like the shoes maybe I'll pick up a pair on eBay

I copped the CE lows with the ADC discount yesterday. I'm actually hoping I don't like them lol. I already have a favorite shoe

On the ADC CE low pages there are links to customize the shoes. It takes you to the miadidas for the CE mid unfortunately. If the lows hit miadidas soon, it will be hard to resist customizing a pair or two.

Until then I'll grab the blue Wiggins PE or red clorway that should drop in the next week or two.

Has anyone taken the Hardens or CE on an outdoor court? Any traction differences? Durability concerns?
