If you double their wins, it's 6. They have one of the worst defenses. A new head coach and I expect DeSean will start some drama. I seriously have no idea on what their record will be. I definitely don't think they'll be as bad but I still don't know how people have them at 1 or 2. The whole division is average though so I guess that's why.

Eagles ain't average, bruh. We gonna do work this season.

Chip Kelly is a gawd.

People really still don't think Chip is legit; it baffles me

For me, the respect that he gets from his peers says it all. A number of well established pro and college coached have come out and said Chip is the man. Urban Meyer said he learned more from Chip in three days then he did in years otherwise. The gawd Belichick himself has said he has learned a lot from Chip's philosophies. That's all I need to know.

1. Eagles
2. 'Skins
3. Cowboys
4. Giants

So you have a team that won 3 games last year at #2. Are the Giants at #4 strictly off your pure hate for Eli? You have the only team in the division with a top 10 defense in the league ranked last.......

herbshuttles15 herbshuttles15 Why is Mark Sanchez a key addition?

 The hell you so upset for?

I don't care what Washington did last year because that was LAST year. And I have the Giants finishing last because I don't think they're a good football team right now. Feel free to come back to this in December if I'm wrong, but don't assume my reasons. You just sound salty.

Mad? Nah, I rarely get mad. Care to explain how the only team in the division with a good defense finishes last?

I was very interested in seeing David Wilson in the NFL no matter what team he played for. It sucks that his career is probably done. He's got lightning speed.

Eagles are still average to me, like the other three teams. I don't believe in Nick Foles, I think he takes a big step back. Eagles don't have a defense. Chip Kelly been in the league one year, why would anyone be sold or a believer?

In the NFCE, ANY team can go from worst to first and vice-versa. Simple as that.

Their defense isn't great. They can play, but the NFCE has a lot of offense. The rules cater to offense. The Giants, have the worst offense. They'll break eventually in games against the offenses of the NFCE and won't be able to score enough to win enough games.

Even if David Wilson wasn't hurt right now (feel bad for him), chances are he woul'dve been hurt at some point anyway. The rest of their RB's are only okay. Unless Andre Williams, who can't catch, somehow turns into a complete stud, their run game will lack. Chris Snee, the anchor, a huge asset to Eli, the O-line and the team, has retired. Eli is inefficient. Always has been. Mix that with what that offense is lacking and it is my opinion that they finish last in 2014.

I could be wrong but I think our defense is great. It was top 10 last year and were constantly on the field because of all the offensive turnovers. I think our defense is even better and we have one of the best secondaries in the league.

I liked what I saw from Rashad Jennings in Oakland last year but I didn't see every snap. So I don't know what to really expect. I think he'll be a good starting back but we'll see.

We have a whole new line. I think the season I determined by the O line. All new pieces, I have no idea what to expect. I don't think it can get worse than last year but it could.

Although I think the Eagles are a step ahead of every team, if I put my fandom aside and view it from the eyes of a neutral fan the ********, Eagles, or Giants can realistically take the division. I do think the Cowboys are clearly a step behind everyone though.

Ballerific: That's just it. Whether their defense is great or not, I think the offense will again put a lot more strain on them by committing turnovers and not scoring enough points. Hard to win consistently in today's NFL, if that's the case.

I don't like the Cowboys much this year either and they can just as easily finish last.

9-7 could easily win this division

I think saying Foles is gonna take a step back this year is assuming he doesn't throw 2 INTs

He's not gonna repeat that but stats being less impressive doesn't mean he doesn't take a step forward

Yeah I agree with 9-7 being the possible record of the division winner. We all have to face the NFC West and the division games are going to be battles like always. I'm hoping Eagles can get to 10-6 though, same record as last year but I think overall we will be a much better team.

Eagles started 3-5 finished 7-1.

And in the east, teams that get hot and go on a hot streak to win usually fall back the next year.

Skins did it 2 years ago.
Giants got hot and won the bowl, just to miss the playoffs the next season. Twice.

I believe in chip, I believe the eagles got better in the offseason. I don't believe philly is as sure a thing to win the east as people think.

Cowboys D was historically bad last year, yet was still a backup qb interception away from winning the east.

I'm not playing the "if" game, I'm saying we were THAT close last year with a historically bad D.

So, with the cowboys offense getting that much better up front, if the D can be just average, that adds a few extra wins.

Nd get outta here wit that "elite" secondary for the giants.

DRC was food in philly, hell still be food in New York. Dez got a whole highlight reel on cuz.

I keep hearing this, but what in the hell makes anyone think the Cowboys defense is going to be better this season? They literally have a bunch of no names on the front 7, which I think is the worst in the NFL. You guys are just banking on this magical force that will make your defense better because it sucked last year? Romo will carry you guys to wins like always which is why I don't think you will be too bad, but your defense is again going to lose you a bunch of games. Lack of depth is a huge concern too, if your team suffers one more major injury to an impact player offensively or defensively your team is ******. Just my opinion though. I say you guys finish around 7-9.

Giants don't really have pass rush either JPP has been mia, Beason is what brought that defense together last year but he's had trouble staying healthy.

I'm not saying our secondary is great because of him. I expect him to be the AZ/DEN version. He quit in Philly. I think Prince has been phenomenal and Antrel is one of the best safeties in the game. Antrel and DRC are close, I expect him to lead DRC.

As for Dez, no one can cover him. He's a freak.

@JimmyKempski: LeSean McCoy walking over to do interview with Michael Irvin, turned back to some fans and said, "I own Dallas."

Shady
