I'll give u that 703, drc didn't play up to his potential in Philly. I like rolle tho. So were gonna see. Giants don't have there usual front 7 tho man. That was the heartbeat of the team during coughlins era.

Nd kobemvp - I'm not banking on a magical force. Lol. I'm simply banking that it can't be THAT bad again. I'm not saying the cowboys D would be like the saints D of last year, from worse to top 5.

But if it goes from #32 to say the #15-24 range, I see that adding more wins. and in the case of Dallas, 1 more win woulda won the division the last 3 seasons.

I feel u tho man,it's ALOT to be optimistic about. And yes, I am banking on some no name to play outta his mind this year. But that's the beauty of the NFL. It actually happens. Lol.

Jason hatcher went from obscurity to pro bowler. George selvie went from unemployed to 7 sacks last year. It happens.

Once more, an average D in Dallas changes the whole outlook. Nd it's not asking too much to be ranked 15-24 in defense.

And JPP was on track to be the best in the game it seemed a few years ago, but hasn't really been true to that. Beason stays hurt now. :smh:

VA: I think the reason for the slow start/strong finish was namely the QB. Foles is exactly the kind of guy that Chip wants under center. Efficient, accurate, sturdy and smart. Even withouth Desean, I think the Eagles will have a very efficient and productive offense.

The season needs to start already.

JPP's back surgery was serious. He never fully recovered. I'm interested in seeing where he's at this season. Will he be as great as he once was or will he be a different player now.

No doubt about that. Foles fit that offense like a glove. And they only got better in the offseason.

I fully expect philly to be in the mix til the end. But history tells me they won't run away with it and are far from a sure thing. The east always boils down to Dallas and week 17.

Let us not forget,Dallas was 5-1 in the division last year. And held that eagles offense to lows across the board when we beat em. All with an historically garbage D.

Me either man! Can't wait! Just talking football gets me hyped. I'm at my desk turnt up. Lol

the fact that the cowboys are 5-1 in the division and still lost it is pathethic. And the game where you beat them, wasnt that the one where they were switching qbs in the game? They didnt have foles set as the starter until that game against the raiders. I think matt barkley was the qb for most of the 1st eagles v dallas game

How do you Eagles fans think the offense will be with Desean gone.

I think the offense will still be pretty good.

Fole probably won't replicate his TD/INT ratio from last but I feel he'll continue to improve. Celek and Erst can be a lethal combo this year, and Shady will probably be incorporated more into the passing game.

The key though is for Riley KKKooper to at least match the production he had last season and for Maclin to actually stay healthy.

Jordan Matthews is gonna be really big in this offense just watch

Maclin staying healthy will be key but if he does he's poised for a big year of 85+ catches IMO

I definitely think the loss of Desean will hurt us in some ways but at the end of the day I think we will be a better offense. The offense the way it is constructed now as opposed to last year is much more versatile and that's the most important thing to Chip. He has HIS guys in there. People need to remember that HE was the one that made the decision to get rid of the dude. Clearly, he thinks his offense can perform as well or better with different types of receivers.

EDIT:

Also want to mention a big reason Desean had such a huge season last year was because of Kelly's scheme.

Jackson's career averages before Kelly compared to Maclin:

Jackson: 54 Catches, 957 yards, and 4.6 Touchdowns. He caught 52.1% of his targets.
Maclin: 64.5 catches, 863 yards, and 6.5 touchdowns.

One season with Kelly for Jackson:

82 catches, 1332 yards, and 9 Touchdowns. Caught 65.2% of his targets.

As long as Maclin is healthy I think he is in for a big year. Matthews will cause matchup problems from the slot. And the rest of our production will come from our running backs and two TE sets. Another year of familiarity with the system will also be a huge factor.

Who knows though, hopefully the decision doesn't backfire on Chip. It was definitely a ballsy move for only a second year head coach.

It was a horrible move to let all that BS leak and then outright cut him. You telling me he couldn't have got moved for a 3rd at least if u don't slander him ?? Smh

It's no coincidence that Desean had a career year under Chip

You aren't going to see that in Washington next year; he will be a solid WR like he was under Andy Reid

I agree but we should've at least got some compensation.

Hoping Fletcher and Kendricks along with boykin take the next step an become pro bowl caliber ...if so we all of a sudden have a emerging defense when u add ryans barwin an Cole into the mix

I agree they damaged him as far as trade value but it got to the point it was easier just to release him than to shop him for a 5th rounder

They should have traded him right after the season

Flying Fish Dead Rise...

Love old bay, but not in my beer. Had some a few weeks ago and it was awful.

I brought a 6 pack home from Ocean City, MD last night

Crazy how popular it is; they hit a home run with Dead Rise

It's cool when I was sitting at a bar eating shrimp but I dunno how tempted I am to buy another 6 pack

I really think the Cowboys, ********, and Giants may all suck this year. In fact, I expect it.

Just trying to get the trash talk started again

We all know the cowboys will suck this year, again.  I mean they haven't been good in almost 20 years.
